Actually it’s very strange that I received this survey. My appointment on 1/4 was cancelled due to the sudden death of Dr. Ron Cuevas.

He was extremely professional. He was great at troubleshooting issues that came up and was careful to consider my wellbeing and any potential inconveniences that arrived due to these issues. I had my eyes checked by Dr. Cuevas and was impressed with his professionalism and the efficiency of the Lense Crafters location. The exam was completed in about 30 minutes, I selected lenses and frames and within an hour had my new glasses.

My visit went extremely well. The time to complete the eye exam was really quick. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor reviewed the photos of my eyes explaining everything we looked at. Over all the exam was better than I expected. They have a new lifetime client.

The whole experience was awesome

The eye exam went very well. The doctor at first had a gravely professional demeanor, but he relaxed into a pleasantly congenial bedside manor during the appointment. I had come in a week prior to my appointment to pick out lenses, so I could have my glasses within an hour after this visit. I had ordered my preferred frames off the shelf, but in a different color, but when we went to find them, even the original color had disappeared, and the representatives could not even find evidence they ever had them! Finally, the rep who had helped me the week prior, Avante, thought to look in "back stock" where lo and behold were the frames, albeit apparently a little worse for wear, but only the one pair in the color I had ordered! He was able to reshape them straight, too, thank goodness! He fitted me with their new 1-micrometer positioning technology, and I left to wait for an hour... yet 20 minutes later I got the text that my glasses were ready for pickup! Until my last pair of glasses, I had been a loyal LensCrafters customer for over 20 years, and I have now come back to them for their excellent quality eyewear! The nosepieces of these are a bit too slippery, but luckily he gave me a set of softer ones just in case! Thanks, Avante!

The Doctor (Dr. Jen) and staff were absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have felt more welcome and cared for. The Doctor was very thorough and gentle with a great sense of humor, as does the staff. We thought that the exam was good. We were pretty perplexed as to why we could have the exam there and not be covered for glasses. Maybe you should look into remedying that. 4j School District is a large employer. It seems that turning people away isn't good for business. Or you should be upfront with customers and explain things from the start. When I asked at check in I wad yold that glasses coverage would be explained when we picked them out. Very misleading.

I like how paciente and informative the doctor was. He made and explained everything pretty clear despite the fact that he used some jargen to explain things. Other than that, the process was also real quick. A lot quicker than I thought actually.

He seemed a little frustrated. But got better as time went on. Maybe just an off day. He is very good at what he does.

Excellent and friendly staff who took time to explain things. Excellent selection of frames and wait time to receive glasses was little less than an hour. Doctor was excellent and took time to explain what he was doing and what he was looking at concerning my exam.

Dr Cuevas has been my eye doctor for 16 years and helped identify my diabetes. He provides a very easy atmosphere and I always feel he makes sure I get a thorough exam. Would recommend him to friends and family.

The doctor was gentle, gentlemanly and thorough. We liked that he explained the retina pictures very well. The only bad experience we had was: The person that did the screening allowed my friend to get lost in the mall after I had told her that she had memory problems and to get me for assistance.

There was very little wait time for checking in and actually been seen by the doctor. He was very kind, and answered all my questions. He gave me 2 samples for some much needed eye drops to gently and safely clean my eyes, and gave me a coupon for an eye wash for my eye allergies due to the change of seasons. I am truly grateful, too, as I’ll be having cataract surgery on my left eye on Tuesday. If I was truly the complaining type, and I’m not, I would say it was a wee bit chilly in the waiting area. But it’s of little consequence.

Utilization of the latest equipment is impressive, but more impressive is the l knowledge and skill of the well trained individuals at this office. The best of hands will comfort you and properly diagnose you in what is a otherwise stressful and uncomfortable situation. This is good, for both body and mind.

My husband and I just had a house fire and lost everything including our glasses. Dr. Cuevas saw us within 2 days and waived his fee for both eye exams. We left his office in a matter of hours with our glasses. Couldn't be happier with treatment and compassion we received there. We highly recommend Dr. Cuevas and all the staff there. Thank you is not enough to him and the whole team at lenscrafters in valley river center. We are so greatful.

Dr was great didn't like that I had to wait 30 minutes but things happen.

The assistant who did the pre-appointment medical exams was cold and seemed uncaring. She had wiped the first instrument (glaucoma, I think) with alcohol then immediately stuck it in my eye. When I said my eye was burning and tears began streaming, she said, "That's just the alcohol." Well, duh! She said only little kids cry because they don't like it. She needs to be more sensitive toward her patients.

Reception staff friendly, appointment was on time. Doctor interactive and open for questions. One negative- I used your software to make my appointment yet came to find out I could not get all the repeat testing I needed at the visit and would have to come back.

Dr. Cuevas was great. He showed me all the pictures and walked me through the changes he made to my prescription. One of my best eye exam experiences.

My experience with Ron Cuevas was both informational and enjoyable.

Exam was very through, but the plastic dark glasses provided after dilation are incompatible with glasses.

After going to the Dr for many years, we would not think of going anywhere else, and have recommended him to many of our friends. He is highly professional and knowledgeable. Also very patient and respectful, and always answers any questions or concerns that we may have.

Dr. Cuevas is very nice. He explains when you ask him questions. He is low key and easy to get along with.
