I have been going here since 2009 and have had really awesome care. My frames broke a couple of weeks ago which I have had them a very long time. So I went in there on my way to work in a panic. My lenses are kind of an out dated style. Oliver went through a lot of frames to try and get one to fit my lens. The last pair he tried fit he was so patient and was determined to find one that would fit. He really took the time and really cared. Mike also us a great guy,in the past before Oliver he would help me. I have recommended them to all my friends in the area and my co -workers. They also gave me a great price as I told him how much I had to spend. I love my new frames!!!

The receptionist was great, the doctor was through. Prices are a bit high.

When my original glasses (had them for ~8 years) broke at the bridge, Oliver Saunders took the lens out, and with a little trimming was able to put the lens into another frame to create an emergency pair for me. I already had my eyes checked two weeks prior to my glasses breaking, so I already had the new prescription. After my glasses broke, I purchased my new glasses at Site for Sore Eyes, and I wore the emergency pair for about 7 days until my new glasses arrived. If it was not for the help of Oliver, I would not have been able to do very much without my glasses. He did a great job!

They were able to fine tune my prescription for my contacts so that my vision is great at both near and distance. They also replaced the lenses on my eyeglasses. Great optometrist and facility!

I received the coopervision rebate confirmation and ...when I clicked to check the claim link on the confirmation email for the rebate, it said it was a website (coopervisionpromotions.com) trying to impersonate coopervision, attempting to steal my information. Kind of unnerving. So hopefully the rebate is actually real. I have to wait 8 weeks for money I spent that supposedly I would get back. I was not told it would take that long when I made the purchase.

I came across sight for sore eyes on the internet, their price for a eye exam was right for me, but the doctor only does exams Tuesdays, and Saturdays, after being examined I came to find out that they have a top notch doctor doing the exams, also they had a great deal on their glasses, because I have only the use of one eye they insisted putting the safety lenses on my glasses. They were very friendly, and caring, felt like my personal family eye clinic that I gone to for years. I'm home now!😊

Had great service and the Dr and Oliver are so pleasant. The dr explained everything to me about the results of my test. Oliver helped me find glasses and sunglasses that fit my face and also that looked good on me. I have such a small face a always have a hard time finding anything to fit my face. I got my glasses back fast. I will be going back there again for sure.

Always a good experience at SFSE

Recently when we had all the fires and too much smoke...we left the area for So Lake Tahoe. I thought I had a sty in my eye...could not find an Ophthalmologist in Tahoe. Went to emergency and they said I had a scratch on cornea and my Iris was inflamed...I was seeing strange halos around lights and light felt like a knife stabbing my eye. They also said it was serious and I could go blind if I did not get in to see an Ophthalmologist within 2 days. They gave me some meds and prescribed others we could not find in 10 pharmacies. We had purchased glasses a year or so ago from Larry. I called and he got us in to see Dr. Doug early ...eye is doing fine and all is well.

Larry hook me up with an instant pair of glasses when I had lost my other pair and had limited other options. I also got Costa glasses for my new set, and I couldn't be happier. They have a great selection of Costa glasses if you never tried them I would highly recommend it. Larry also repaired an old set to get me through.

Oliver took his time trying to help me with my glasses. He was very informative and really helped me. It is a pleasure have him to help me. He understood all of my needs and was so happy to do what I wanted.

Larry and Oliver were very helpful in replacing my lenses which had been damaged. They were able to order new lenses and then once they arrived they replaced them while I waited. Such a caring group of people who are eager to help and provide great service.

I had a very good experience, choosing Sight for Sore Eyes to get my Ophthalmologist's prescription for eyeglasses made. Oliver made the experience stress free and pleasant. The store was very clean. There was a huge selection of frames to choose from, budget priced to expensive. No pressure was put on me to decide. Oliver is a professional. My prescription was explained. Explanations were given regarding different options such as coatings, for the lenses, that were available. He even recommended a less expensive option for me than purchasing a pair of sunglasses, a product that fits over my eyeglasses. I will definitely recommend and be returning.

At site for sore I got the best contact lennss whic allow me to see 20/25. For many year my vision was 20:40. Thank for the Doctors who spend many hours to fegure out the right number. One of my family members came from Frace and she got the right numbers for her glasses and her headache is gone. Expensive but worth it, they are a custom shop and take the time to get it right. Larry and Oliver are personable and low key, choices are large and all three pair of glasses I bought are high quality. I scratched one pair and the $25 warranty came in handy. Highly recommended if you value your vision.
