My acupuncturist Mari Stecker, since 2003, is the best. She cares about her patients, and has a never give up attitude, and the results are great for my body. I also appreciate the apothecary, they make it easy to get the supplements recommended.

My problem was urgent but not an emergency. I was able to see two practitioners very quickly (same week) and get on my healing path right away. I went in feeling hopeless and negative and left feeling reassured and positive.

The front desk personnel are always polite, friendly, and very helpful. Dr. Sharma is amazing - she is so knowledgeable and she always takes her time with you and truly listens to you. She's the best doctor I have ever found.

It was good to meet with Wendy for my annual physical. She was well informed and very pleasant and personable. Dr. Edelberg has left big shoes to fill when he stopped doing these exams, and Wendy did a fine job. She was up on a lot of new nutritional stuff, advocating a mostly plant-based diet (which we have adopted at our house already, so it's nice to have confirmation). I didn't realize that I needed to have been fasting in order to get the most accurate cholesterol levels, so I'll have to go back for a blood test which is not the end of the world. We love this practice. Thank you!

My appointment was with Marla who had great suggestions and input , as always. She’s also a fine listener and a pleasure to work with in keeping my lipids under control! I do wish your office took Medicare though. That’s my only complaint.

I had been a patient of Paul Rubin's for some time. I wasn't sure what I was going to do now -- I had developed some weakness in my right thigh, so I thought I'd give Cliff a chance to see what he would do. Well, the leg is back -- I don't have hardly any weakness or "buzz" in the leg at all after two-three weeks of tolerating it. He did a really deep tissue probe of the hip. He was also reassuring (I'm a worrier type) that this was probably the result of sitting too much in front of a computer (my job). I will return for another appointment next week and expect to see Cliff regularly from now on.

Katie O is great and WH is great but it seems like a difficult space for her to work in. The stairwell and hall are where people inherently stop and chat - with no ill intent - but my healing sessions almost always include details about people’s weekend or lunch or dog - even with treatment music on. What doesn’t seem loud to them penetrates those walls like they are talking in my ear during treatment. It changes the experience, which is otherwise fabulous.

I really like Dr. Kelley! She is very thorough and validating. She believed me when I explained to her my symptoms.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful and understands your time is important. The office has s good process of keeping everything flowing from initial vitals to bloodwork.

Thoughtful Attention to my symptoms and concerns.

I had a very informative follow up appointment with Dr. Kelley. As always, she gave me useful suggestion for how to improve my health. She was conservative in her approach & laid out risks & benefits of different options. She gave me referrals to different practitioners, including one to help rule out any underlying medical conditions before pursuing a more “natural” approach. Staff as always were friendly.

After a 15+ minutes wait on my initial appointment, everthing was perfect.

Dr Casey was amazing! Very nice & informative. However, the girl who drew my blood was less than friendly. I was not feeling well to begin with and was having a hard time having my blood drawn but she really didn’t seem to care. I thought I was going to pass out and not once did she offer me juice or anything. It wasn’t until a guy came in and saw that I was not feeling well but he offered me some juice. I just thought she could’ve been a little nicer & paid attention to the fact that I was on the verge of passing out.

Dr Gemelas has a great bedside manner, is attentive and clearly is looking out for her patients’ well-being and health improvement. We all love her.

Dr Kelley is lovely - she takes her time with listening to you and is gentle and measures in her approach to treating you - it’s always a pleasure to see her. The front desk staff are also always pleasant and efficient - love coming here

Sujatha gave me hope and inspiration for what I could do to tame the beast of my back pain. She was kind and direct. I'm now taking the supplements she suggested and am working on my own healing. The tapping (which I am already familiar with) is invigorating; the meditation a bit challenging for my over-active brain!. I'm also re-reading Dr Sarno's book, which makes a lot of sense. While I still feel challenged, I want to continue under her care. I look forward to my next steps together with Sujatha. Dr. E is highly experienced,, thorough and I trust him with my health more than I do other doctor's. Making the trips from Houston to Chicago for my appointments can be tidious but well worth it. Not too many doctor's out there who are trained in integrative medicine and most who aredo not accept medical insurance but WHC accepts my insurance.

I am very glad that WHC has added a certified therapist for myofacial-release therapy. I find this kind of therapy extremely helpful, and I highly recommend it for others with fibromyalgia and other kinds of pain.

Always feel that my doctor is attentive to the information I am giving her and is communicating very well where we're at and what needs to be addressed. Consider my 5 star review a 6 star one.

Finally got to the issue at hand diagnosing me with Lyme where most medical doctors wouldn’t go the extra mile to find out what was wrong with me. I also like the fact they look at head to toe not just one system at a time. Lyme affects your entire body all systems so it’s improtant to have a synergistic approach to your health.

All the practitioners that I have visited are skilled and truly dedicated to their patients. I also appreciate the knowledgeable staff in the Apothecary. They are able to answer questions about the products and if not, they will volunteer to find the answers. In addition, they understand that the products can be quite expensive and will help calculate the most economical choice.

I love everything about Whole Health. The staff is friendly and the doctors are very knowledgeable. My only recommendation is changing the patient portal system. Patients don't like paying money every year to access their records and doctors. Especially since it's not just a one time fee. Maybe more receptionists need to be hired if the phone is ringing off the hook all day.

Yesterday I had my first appointment at WHC. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gemelas. I felt my physician structured the time so that she was able to address the most urgent concerns that I have and skillfully sorted through the information from past appointments and tests that I had completed elsewhere to come up with a plan of action. I found Dr. Gemelas easy to speak to and a good listener. My appointment started right on time and the office staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The fully stocked apothecary made filling any prescriptions easy and lastly I appreciated the peaceful ambiance of the office with natural wood beams and even a vertical succulent garden in the waiting room. Great first experience!

Dr. Gemelas is invaluable. I’m so thankful to have found a doctor who is mold and Lyme literate, intelligent and proactive after dragging my feet through the mud of practitioners elsewhere. The rest of the staff is always very friendly and good people. My only observation was in one instance the nurse in the back didn’t know which blood draw I was supposed to get, but i can’t say it was her fault since it’s possible there was a hiccup on the screen. Fortunately I knew which blood test I was getting so it wasn’t a big deal at all. Thank you all for what you do there!!!

They really care about their patients and they have so much to offer, whether you need medical care, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, etc., etc., etc. I travel quite far to get there for my appointments and it is totally worth it! I'm always greeted promptly and usually by name and check in/check out is usually quick. The front desk staff is also good about letting me know if the practitioner I'm seeing is running late. If I need something from the apothecary and no one is there, they get someone out to help me. And if I've forgotten to bring my HSA debit card, it's still easy to pay my bill because it's on file.

I love Whole Health and have always had a positive experience with all practitioners. They are caring and work to get to the bottom of what ails you and keep you in good health. It's refreshing to be treated as a WHOLE person and not feel like just another number.
