With extensive training and experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, osteopathy, craniopathy and acupuncture, Dr. Silver offers the most advanced treatment options to help each patient attain optimal health and wellness. Using state-of-the-art techniques and both traditional and alternative approaches, Dr. Silver helps patients understand the root causes of their pain and other symptoms so they can achieve symptoms relief in addition to improved overall health.
At his offices in West LA, and Sherman Oaks, Dr. Silver performs skilled, compassionate, patient-centered treatments based on each patient's individual health needs and goals, including therapeutic rehabilitative exercise, osteopathic manipulation, joint injections, trigger point injections, and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections to help speed healing and recovery after disease or injury.
Board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Silver completed his osteopathic degree at Touro University California, followed by an internship in family medicine at Mills-Peninsula hospital and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York University Medical Center, as well as training in acupuncture at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center. Dedicated to continuing his knowledge and education in his specialty fields, Dr. Silver maintains active memberships in several professional societies, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Osteopathy, The Osteopathic Cranial Academy and the American Osteopathic Association.
