She holds a B.S. in Chemistry, with a minor in Secondary Education from Cabrini College, Radnor, PA. She briefly worked as a substitute teacher, followed by 4 years as an assistant to a Ph.D. chemist at a major chemical company. Before becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she worked for 10 years in the Faith Formation program at St. Augustine and St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Churches in Pleasanton, CA.
