She presented this work at the AAPHD meeting in Huntsville, Alabama and published it in the Journal of Dental Education in 2015.
She completed her Masters thesis with a focus on the use of Motivational Interviewing as a technique to help reduce the incidence of new caries in a high caries risk dental population. She presented this work at the 2016 AAPD annual session in San Antonio, Texas entitled “Effects of Preventive Recall Strategy Following Full Mouth Dental Rehabilitation” and hopes that this project will help educate pediatric dental providers on applying risk-based strategies to help reduce the burden of early childhood caries.
