Dr. Frank Piranio is a San Diego native and has been in private practice in Clairemont for over 15 years. He received his chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas, TX, along with a bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy. Prior to that, he attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He has continued his education in sports chiropractic and has been a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner since 2003. He is also continuing his completion of the diplomate program in chiropractic neurology. His clinical interests include sports medicine, kinesiology, functional neurology and human biomechanics. With these interests, he has treated a wide array of conditions including but not limited to: lower back and neck pain, headaches, vertigo, pain and weakness in the extremities and altered gait biomechanics. He has also treated various sports injuries for his active patient population. Dr. Piranio enjoys reducing dysfunction and improving the quality of life for his patients. He and his wife have two children and live in the San Carlos area.
