Podiatric Medicine has been a passion of Dr. Reingold for most of his life. He grew up around podiatrists and wanted to be one since he was a young man. In pursuit of his dreams, Dr. Reingold attended Podiatric Medical School in San Francisco and did his surgical residency in San Diego. He entered practice in Solana Beach over 30 years ago as the youngest licensed Podiatrist in the State of California.
Over time he has held a number of offices in the Podiatry Society and the local hospital, where he was Chief of Podiatric Surgery for many years. He has enjoyed teaching and has been involved with both medical students and residents for many years. He has also served as a director of a podiatric surgical program.

Ok I have been having moderate to severe foot pain in the ball of my foot for about 5 months. I HATE going to all/any doctors. I've been using Aleve, Epson salt foot soaks, Dr. Scholl's ball-of-foot cushions (ouch - made it worse!) and even went to my Acupuncturist. Anyway, I was super stoked to get asked to work my company's spread at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Vegas next week and realized there was NO WAY I was going to be able to be on my feet for 11-12 hours a day for multiple days. I called Coast Podiatry Group begging for an appt on New Year's Eve and thought for sure I was SOL. Dr. Reingold called me back after I submitted my online "Request for Appt" on their site. He said he'd see me. I went in today and he diagnosed my feet with a slight deformity (which I've had since birth - wore foot braces as a young child but they've never bothered me since). In addition to the exam, he took X-rays on the spot, diagnosed the issue, gave me an injection in each foot, created hand-crafted foot pads and gave me a rec to a shoe store to pick up some foot-friendly shoes for CES. Literally it exceeded all of my expectations and was the best doctor's appt of any kind I've ever had. Dr. Reingold is extremely professional and knowledgable. I will go back to see him in two weeks for some orthotics. He is a GENIUS and totally saved me! I wish he could be my PCP. He is a physician, an scholar, a surgeon, an intellectual, a craftsman, and a gentleman. :)

My uncle has had a deformed foot for a bit over 50 years, had seen other doctors that told him it was either not worth it getting surgery or that they couldn't do anything. Dr.Jack is a podiatrist God... My uncle can now walk "normal" and use shoes! Surgery took 6 hours and Dr.Jack made sure every minute was well worth the outcome. Only regret is that I Wish we would have known about him sooner. Also, staff specially front desk administrator, she's there cause she knows what she's doing. Very efficient, and straightforward. I like her.
