Laura Dr. Laura E. Caloca is a Registered Psychological Assistant (PSB94020824) working under the supervision of Dr. Silva. She earned her doctorate of psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA in January, 2015. She has been working as a bilingual (English and Spanish) mental health service provider for children, adolescents, adults, and families for fifteen years. Her experience includes treatment of individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings with: severe and persistent psychiatric disorders, chronic pain, social/emotional and behavioral issues, and individuals facing loss, grief, and bereavement. She has experience with several modalities, including: individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and treatment of adolescents as well as adults. Dr. Caloca’s professional interests lie in psychological assessment, traumatic brain injury (TBI), forensic psychology, and clinical psychology. She received her Masters Degrees in Counseling Psychology (2010) and Public Administration (2005) from National University. Dr. Caloca was granted a CAPIC MHSA fellowship award in 2014, which provides a stipend to clinical psychology students committed to working in the California public mental health system.
