Being a dentist in Chula Vista means I am able to contribute to a person’s well-being. Working with so many incredible people, each with their own unique needs, keeps me challenged and engaged. I am proud that dentistry allows people to have a healthy life, both physically and emotionally, as oral health is connected to both physical health and self-esteem. My experience and knowledge means I make a difference in the lives of my patients, and that is very rewarding.
I love the relationships I develop with my patients and the conversations we share. Hearing their life stories, learning about their individual successes, and their openness and willingness to include me in their daily life, are honors that I do not take lightly.
I am especially humbled by my patients who come to me with dental anxiety. Some of them have put off seeing a dentist for years and are now in great pain. Not only am I able to relieve them of that pain, but through the use of painless dental techniques, including sedation, I am able to show them that modern dentistry is not something to fear. When a previously reticent patient smiles and hugs me at the end of a procedure, telling me that they felt nothing, I know I’ve started them on the path to dental healing.
