This is the best place to go if you have skin problems. I have psoriasis and was unsure what it was. I made an appointment with Dr. Crosby and he was amazing. Under his care I was able to get on the Humira patient assistance program as I don't have insurance & now I get the medicine absolutely free. I would highly recommend Grossmont Dermatology to anyone who needs help with a skin problem!

this place is the best! My husband had to go in for skin cancer surgery. He had been to another Dr. in San Diego, (I won't mention the name but widely known), and he refused to go back there. We found Grossmont Dermatology and so glad we did. They made what is usually a very unpleasant experience as pleasant as possible. They put snacks out for the surgery patients because you are there all day. The staff couldn't have been nicer, from the people at the front desk, to the nurses etc. A special shout out to Dr. Chris Crosby. He and his nurse took very good care of my husband. As we were leaving, he gave us his cell number, in case we needed to get ahold of him. Who does that? He is an exceptional Doctor. I highly recommend this medical practice.

I tried this place out with the help of other yelpers and so glad I did! The location of the office is located in a Sharp Medical building. There's a parking structure next to it that charges $3 maximum so if you are there shorter than that you pay less. I was in and out of there in 25 minutes so paid $1.50 for parking. It's a block from Grossmont Center if you want to save some money and walk up the hill. I went there expecting to wait but was there for 25 minutes and that included me parking, checking in, getting my mole removed, and checking out. I went for a mole removal on my nose and saw Helene Jolly and clearly knew what she was doing and could tell she does that a lot. She walked me through what she was going to do then as she was doing everything let me know. She said she was going to start by numbing the area with a needle and may cause some stinging discomfort. The "stinging discomfort" she said will last a few seconds and in reality lasted one second and was just a quick poke that I hardly felt. In fact it was very very minor. She then proceeded to cut it (didn't feel that at all), then used some laser thing (didn't feel it again), then she was done! It was super fast. I dealt with all different staff members from making an appt, checking in and out, the medical assistant, and ALL of them were VERY friendly and efficient The day before my appt they gave me an automated call for an appt reminder which was pretty cool I had a positive experience so I personally recommend
