My family has been to Dr. Skay multiple times over the last 5 years. Dr. Skay spends a lot of time with each exam in order to get the correct prescription. He has a great personality and quite humorous. I strongly recommend Dr. Skay for your eye care.

f you want personal attention and service like you used to get in the good old days by a real doctor with an old school vibe I'd say this is the place. It's weird to pick an eye doctor from Yelp, but then, how else do you randomly choose one? I'd been just driving up to OC the last couple of years to see my eye doctor who knows my history but it turns out she'd moved to a new practice and the thought of filling out the transfer forms and such just didn't appeal to me. Plus I was over a year overdue on my eye appt and since I need contacts to function I had to buck up and go for it. Dr. Skay and his trusty sidekick Jessica (AKA front office wonderwoman) were awesome and I'm so happy I found them. The first day I pulled up and saw the location I'll admit I was a bit nervous but I'm really glad I didn't run. You almost feel like you step back into time, not because the equipment (which is all shiny and new) but because of the level of service and friendliness and genuine "hey, take care of your eyes" speeches and quizzes the doctor poses during the exams. He has a great gentle manner and a comforting sense of humor. I highly recommend going here, you'll feel like part of the family in no time. I went back a couple of other times for contact fitting checks and then to pick up my order and it felt like I was stopping in to a doctor I'd been going to for years. In a good way of course.
