Dr Sterling was very sensitive to my needs and hesitations. As a redhead, who needs extra to help with numbing, he went above and beyond to be sure that I was good and numb before my root canal. He took the time to talk me through the process, explain where he was during the procedure, and check on how I was doing throughout. This was the best experience I’ve had with a root canal. Typically, I need nitrous oxide to get through a root canal. Not this time! And, I didn’t feel a thing with what lovely numbing shot in the roof of my mouth - those are the worst, but not this time! Can’t say enough about what a great experience this was!

My dentist provided a great experience. She ensured that throughout the process we were communicating about how it’s going & if I was feeling any discomfort. Highly recommended! One minor issue was with the billing/finance team not being able to provide the detailed pricing after insurance of each services provided. Can be more detailed & transparent so that patients know what to expect overall including insurance portion.

Despite having to have a root canal, my experience at Asrari Endodontics was very positive. Dr Sterling and Sierra were terrific, and made the whole experience so much easier. I must say this was one of the best experiences I've ever had going to the dentist/ getting a root canal. I've had many traumatic experiences at the dentist, that has made me fearful of ever going into a dentist office. However this office and the dentist himself made me feel valued and actually took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel comfortable about the work I would be getting done. I would 100% recommend this office and will most definitely be recommending this place to everyone.

Identifying the problem tooth was quite a jolt! Once the work began, I was handled with extreme care and courtesy by both Dr. Chang and the assistant. The job was done in an hour as predicted. Some ache after the anesthesia wore off but not bad. It is obvious that gently taking patient through an otherwise stressful experience is a top priority for which I am grateful l. I am still receiving care related to my procedure. I would recommend a more coordinated approach to communication with what is needed from or by the patient pre procedure and that all prescriptions needed be provided beforehand so the patient can fill them and then just go home to recover. Everyone very nice.

Dr Chang was very good with the root canal procedure that I got done. He was very polite and did his work very efficiently. I was most impressed with how he called back in few days to check how I was doing. Answered all my questions very patiently.

On the day of my appointment, the front-office staff was welcoming and friendly; I was given the necessary paperwork to fill out, then taken to Dr Sterling. Dr Sterling asked if I had any questions, then answered each one succinctly with confidence, Which transferred the same to me. Other than the expected tiny pinch of the novicane, the entire root canal procedure was painless and just as remarkable was the 24 hours that followed. No Ibprophen or Tylenol needed. I have had several root canals during my 75 years and given the prognosis by a previous dentist, I expected the worst. Instead, I got a first...painless root canal start to recovery! Dr Sterling’s authenticity was again reflected when he called to check on this patient’s condition which I’m sure is his procedure with all. Thanks Dr. Sterling, in my book you’re #1👏🎉☝️

I saw Dr. Chen about one and a half weeks ago to redo my old root canal. Dr. Chen was so gentle and caring during the procedure and he tried as much as possible to ease the pain. Even though my tooth was so stubborn and challenging , he was very patient and trying to make me relax . In a nutshell, you rocked!! I was initially apprehensive about seeing a different Dr besides Dr. Asrari but when Dr. Sterling took time to first, meet with me and introduce himself, I reconsidered. We agreed to do the xrays and exam and once he explained those to me, I was sold. He is one of the rare Drs. Who know that genetics and race sometimes play a race in how our bodies behave and for him to know right away that the bone density difference I have going is likely because I'm of African descent and at around an age where this happens, and not nerve issues was refreshing. To top it off he was really honest, not trying to force me to do any treatment or sell anything else. The procedure went excellent, from the gentle numbing, to the steady handed Dr., to the awesome and gentle assistant, the pandora music and to the actual procedure being done faster than I ever thought possible! I was eating on that side by mistake in about an hour!?!? That's how great everything went, I didnt know a root canal could be so seamless! THANK YOU Dr. Sterling and your very awesome and considerate assistant, I was humbled to be treated by you. THANK YOU, I'm forever grateful!! I could write a book but consider yourself the best dental professional I have been treated by!
