My daughter is mentally challenged and Dr. John and his assistant were very patient with her and explained in detail what they were going to do which is what she needs when going to the dentist.She felt very comfortable and we are happy to find the right dentist for her.

We recommend Carson City pediatric dentistry to everyone! Dr. Olson took great care of our daughter when she knocked out several front teeth in a playground accident in kindergarten. A few years later Dr. John was on call and took great care of Sadie after breaking off a permanent front tooth at Disneyland. We were impressed with the kindness and compassion after a traumatic event. We still feel bad he had to come in on a Sunday, but appreciate the exceptional care!

I wish I had a dentist office like this to go to when I was a kid and my daughter loves Dr. John we won't go anywhere else! We have been bringing her to Dr. John for a couple years now and really appreciate his approach to my daughter as she was always reluctant to have her teeth looked at and worked on but he always reassured her patiently. Somehow Dr. John has been able to win over her trust and that means a lot to us!

My 2 year old was terrified to have her teeth cleaned this visitdespite the fact she's been twice before. The staff didn't press the issue and opted out of the cleaning. Dr. Olsen found another way to look at her teeth so that she could remain on my lap. I appreciate that he is always respectful of our family's choices and puts the kid's comforts first.

My son is photo sensitive. The staff was very respectful and didn't use the big light to clean his teeth. Dr. Olsen always explains what he's doing before he does it to make the kids more comfortable.

I called on a Monday morning, as a weeping Grandma, concerned for the condition of my grandson's teeth. He had, what I called, a mouth full of mess! Ispoke to Marsha who listened, with great compassion, and got us in the very next morning. The entire staff was amazing and took wonderful care of our 5 year old. His appointment, at the Lake Tahoe Surgery Center, was scheduled for the next available time and day and, as of Monday, procedure complete! I can't say enough good things about the entire experience! Im a single mother that works and goes to school fulltime. I dont get any type of assistance from anyone or from the government/state so all of my son's dental needs, besides the little my insurance does cover, im soley responsible for. My son's teeth have been horrible since he started getting them (mine were the same way growing up just not as bad) even after doing everything necessary showing him how to brush properly, 3 times a day, mouth wash, floss, everything. This dental practice is the only one that I've found that takes what little my insurance does cover, is affordable, and works with me to get what procedures my son needs and what I can afford. They're great with kids and I highly recommend them, especially if you happen to be a similar situation. They're interactions with the kids that go there are great and i know my son is in good hands with them. .

Dr. John and his assistant (brown hair light skin I can’t remember her name) were both soo wonderful I cannot even put into words just how great they were with my daughter and I. It was my daughters first trip to the dentist (she’s 4, and yes I do know they’re supposed to go as soon as they get teeth but that’s basically just how much I was dreading taking her so I kept putting it off). I think I was a little more nervous than she even was. They eased my nerves as well as my daughters and my daughter actually had fun while she was there because of how cute they have it set up for the kids. I highly recommend CC Pediatric Dentistry to anyone with kids under 18 years of age. Every single person my daughter and I dealt with from check in to check out were all very nice and professional, it seemed like each one of them wanted to be there and were actually happy there. It definitely showed through their work and kid friendly attitudes.

Your staff needs to be on the same page as far as post procedure instructions. I first didn't receive any instructions. Had to ask then the paperwork given to me said something different than what the gal was telling me. Called back after appt to ask a question regarding procedure and was told the same info on paperwork plus more on for that isn't listed on paperwork. Very confusing.
