Miguel A. Montiel is CSTI president and owner. He has been working as a bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist for 11 years. He leads a team of national and state licensed speech and language pathologists. He was born in Nogales, AZ and moved to Albuquerque, NM to attend the University of New Mexico and play baseball for the Lobos. As a student athlete, Miguel double majored in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish. He went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology. During his graduate work, Miguel completed a thesis studying mother interactions with their two year old children during book reading. He co-authored an article published in the Language Speech and Hearing Services in Schools in 2009 where his findings were shared. Miguel enjoys mentoring graduate students and speech and language pathologists who are beginning their careers. He is married to his beautiful wife of 11 years, Andrea, and has three daughters Lilia, Sophia, and Paola.
