I have a severe dentist phobia. I came in with a lot of pain and anxiety. I was met with compassion and caring. I had a text message next day to check on me, and they found time to see me again to make sure I wasn’t in pain over the weekend.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable in a pleasant office setting. Dr. McCarthy along with the excellent hygienist were interested in me as a person as well as a patient. Their care and explanation of my present and future dental needs were superior. I would highly recommend this team.

It was easy to get an appointment quickly. (Due to my jaw pain, I was offered an appointment at 8 the following morning.) And at the time of my exam, Dr. Doring offered to do the necessary work that afternoon. Due to a deadline at wor. I opted for 2 days later. Everyone -- literally each and every staff member with whom I interacted -- was very kind and explained everything. Words of encouragement were offered throughout the procedure. The environment was pleasant... bright, clean, welcoming -- with coffee and bottled water in the waiting area. I was given lip balm for post-procedure dry lips, and because I could only have soft foods was even given a can of chicken noodle soup so I didn't have to stop at the grocery store. (Who wants to do that with a swollen, painful mouth?!) The extra gauze (in case of bleeding) and little bag with mouth/tooth care items and metal drinking cup with lid were very much appreciated and will definitely come in handy. By the time I arrived home about 20 minutes later my jaw was throbbing and my face was swollen and made me wish I'd had an ice pack for the ride home. Luckily, I had one ready to use in the freezer, so that was an easy fix. Bottom line: no one LIKES to undergo dental procedures/surgery, but Dr. Doring and the great staff made it so much better than it would otherwise have been. Thanks!

Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and very happy. The atmosphere was comfortable and the overall good feeling was contagious.

Enjoyed my experience. Did feel like folks were putting some “hard sell” on me for treatments.

The extraction and implant process was relatively painless. I think my only complaint would be that I felt rushed when the diagnosis was made to commit to the procedure that afternoon. We will see when the procedure is completed in the coming months.

This was my first time meeting the new staff after 20 years with Dr Cohen. Everyone was pleasant and friendly which was much appreciated. The entire appointment seemed thorough and everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Having to pay for the appointment and then hope insurance covers some of it and seeing the cost of future procedures could be a financial difficulty for me. Otherwise it was nice meeting the new staff and one of the dentists.

The temp crown has remained in place except for one evening when it loosened, and I pressed it back down. So far, it’s all right. S
