I enjoy the environment of being at a private doctor. The 1 on 1 experience is personal & it shows he cares. Dr Bennett A Lewis is very friendly and helpful. Easy to get along with and to be able to talk to. He made me feel as if he cared that I was his patient. He more so treated me as I was part of his family and not just a patient. I love dr Lewis but you need to seriously work on your patient wait times. My first time I waited an hour after my appointment to be seen. Second time was 25 minutes. This last time I waited until 2:45 when my appointment was at 2. Why take appointments if you can't see them on time? Everything else has been great and he is a great doctor which is why I continue to come but honestly it's annoying and should be fixed. I don't like trashing people on Yelp so I made this comment here.

Dr Lewis is the best doctor I have ever had. He is caring, nurturing, very knowledgeable, keeps up to date on medical best practices and encouraging. You may have to wait but that is because he takes time with each patient to make sure you understand your diagnosis, discusses your medications and ensure that you understand the course of action he is taking. He even takes time to go on his computer yo show you diet plans. No other doctor has time for that. If you have personal problems he takes time to listen and make the necessary referral if its not in his field. I know for sure he has the patience of Job as I am a difficult patient but he bears with me. Had it not been for him I would not be this healthy today.

The staff are friendly with great energy, and I never feel rushed like a number in line or uncomfortable - which can be the case with a lot of others I've dealt with in the past.
