I had appointment at 230 pm I arrived with all paperwork at 215 I sat down in the large waiting area at 225 pm wasn’t called until 320 pm. I left the building at 450 pm. I understand overbooking you make more money. But I as most people do not like waiting a long time, short time I can see but not the length that I did.

You all were very kind and professional but our problem was not solved as far as surgery and medical releases are concerned BUT over all I will and would highly recommend this place to anyone who needed their eyes taken care of. Dr. Filutowski is a very gentle and careing man and his assistances are very knowledge and make you feel comfortable. The counselor I had needs to slow down and listen more. To check out crew was great and so was the check in crew. Thank you all

Professional and informative, but felt like a number and did not realize it was going to take 2+ hours to complete. Along with the fact that my eyes stayed dilated for over 24 hours with no contact to call over the weekend if it persisted.

To begin with, everyone was so friendly! From the entrance of the building through the entire process. Your practice is the first ophthalmologists office that I have gone to that have run on time! The front desk staff got me through that process very quickly and also provided me with a cold bottle of water. I am disabled with a back injury and cannot walk very far without a debilitating back spasm. Every single person in your practice did their best to help me out as kindly as possible. Rosa left me in the exam room instead of making me go back to the waiting room before I saw the doctor. Tara put me in an office that was not her own to prevent me from having to walk as far. Both Rosa and Tara were really pleasant and informative. Tara explained the entire process to me. I was very impressed with her knowledge and skills. Another thing that stuck out in my mind is that all your employees seem to work together as a very cohesive team! Plus, they were very friendly with each other just passing in the hallway. Honestly, I don't recall hearing one impatient or unpleasant voice from any of your staff. I worked in the healthcare system my entire life and I was extremely impressed with your office and staff. At my visit to Filutowski, my eyes were checked very extensively. I found out why my vision had recently worsened. In addition, I found out how I could greatly improve it.

Everyone was so courteous from the greeter to checkout. The Doctor took the time with me to answer my questions and make recommendations. The facility was very clean and insured my safety at all times.

During the exam my mask was fogging up the lens I was supposed to be looking through thus I was trying to adjust my mask to clear up my vision and didn't respond to the prompts. I mentioned this to the tech. His response was this happens a lot now. I am concerned that my eyes are being evaluated and diagnosed on incomplete information.

The staff was very professional and extremely knowledgeable handling all of my concerns and questions. Also I can't say too much about how courteous they were making me feel that I was in good hands and not just the "next number please". The entire staff have an "Outstanding Job" rating from me. First off, I’m the type of person that is very protective of my eyes and doesn’t like anything near them. However, that feeling completely changed for me once I got started with the Filutowski Team. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially with the safety protocol required for the COVID situation we’re all dealing with. Being met at the door from the staff to verify my appointment, temp checked and sent in, the front desk staff was friendly, the initial meeting was very informative about the procedures and pricing, the exam process was by far the most thorough and informative from the staff while completing the process. The individual who I was assigned to made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The final exam with the doctor was just as comfortable and also very thorough and informative. My next step is going through with the procedure, look for my review update soon. Thank you.

The check in process was awesome and very quick. Dr. Dempsey walked me through the entire procedure and was very calming. The nurses that assisted were jovial and put me at ease. Total time was about an hour and they staff was very helpful. I would recommend the Insititute to all.

The surgical procedure was performed with excellent precision and I’m happy with the results. The inner office communication was terrible, however. Everyone was confused about my file and I received phone calls about my “surgery” when actually it had been previously canceled, for example. There were far too many of these communication issues to even list. This made me almost go to your competition. Get it together there and limit Dr. Filutowski’s inner action with patients and you’ll be at 100%.

Staff friendly, personable and professional. Only two dislikes..waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time and not allowing my driver to go inside to wait. We are not from area snd wife didnt want yo ride around in strange area. Sat in car with windows down in 94 degree heat because she did'nt want to waste gas or ruin engine from idling. You can do safe social distancing inside the facility which works in other doctors offices.

However, the staff— from the check in and check out ladies to the doctor and her assistant—were so gentle and patient with her that it was a much less scary visit for her than it could have been. Quick and easy

The experience was fine, but it seems as if you don’t value your patients’ time as much as you could. I spent much more time sitting in the waiting room trying to not get infected by other patients and when I think of how much time I spent in a chair being treated by a professional versus how much time I spent waiting for that I think there’s some room for improvement there. Also, I was scheduled for a three day follow up which got canceled due to the office closing, and was told we need to reschedule the three day check in for two or three weeks from now depending when this virus scare blows over. That makes no sense to me. That should be added on to doing the left eye so I only make one trip from Cocoa Beach which is an hour and a half drive each way, $10 of tolls and $25 of gas. I think it should be one trip to do the left eye and take a look at the righteous and test the pressure. First appt to check for cataracts. The front desk people were very nice, as was the woman that did my preliminary exam. Then I saw Dr. Shane who was very professional and confirmed I had cataracts. I need to see the retinal specialist in-house to check my myopic condition before scheduling surgery. I was very pleased with everyone I had contact with. I would recommend this office.

The only issue I had was the counselor lost my medical clearance but I wasn’t notified until I showed up for the procedure and had to scramble to get my dr to fax over a copy. Great experience

Everyone is always pleasant, courteous, kind and caring. For the first time I have a negative to relay. I had to wait 30 minutes for the doctor to see me. The patient in the room next to mine would not shut up, she was an inconsiderate, rude time stealer. Dr. Kease was very apologetic, however, it was 5:45 when we got out of there. My appointment was 3:55, we live an hour away in Clermont, and our 13 month old granddaughter was with us because we take care of her while her parents work. Hopefully this is a one time mishap.

Was extremely impressed with the entire process...all procedures were super organized and followed through with percission, care, and expertise...and my cateract surgery was perfectly successful.. great job by the entire team!

As long as I’ve been coming there (since 1999-2000), I’ve only had one negative experience -and that was because I didn’t ask questions. You guys are great from beginning to end. You could install a coffee bar for us to visit while we wait for our eyes to readjust!

After waiting for about 45 min. Katherine called me in for my exam and found out that I hadn't been given new patient paperwork. So she gave me the paperwork and let me bring it back with me in the exam room so I could work on it and not have to wait any longer. She was so nice and kind to me during the exam. Explaining everything as she went. What an angel you have in her. Then I was examined by Dr. Best. She was very nice too. So my entire experience was great.

Very professional staff but could not afford because don’t take my mother insurance. My mom needed the surgery and I was accompanying her. My daughter Vanessa had the Lasik surgery performed by Dr FILUTOWSKI maybe 15 years ago when she was in college and at that time they took her insurance from Hard Rock Cafe. It was awesome

My first experience with Filutowski was yesterday and it was wonderful. I was seen on time, the staff were all very professional and caring and they made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. I have elected to have cataract surgery based on that experience and look forward to seeing my vision improved!

I'm a senior on Medicare. When I initially called I indentified my insurance and asked if there.would be any issues. I was told no. I showed up for appointment and everyone was very friendly and answered all questions. At end of visit, I was told about follow up appts, options, and price. I was surprised by cost and asked why so high. I was then told they were "out of network" for my insurance. I was shocked to hear this as I thought on my initial call I was told no issues for insurance. The additional cost was not acceptable, so I canceled further appointments.

I was treated in Urgent Care that morning and I was told to see an opthmologist ASAP. I called the Lake Mary office and s/w Mallory and she told to come to the office immediately, which I did. I had a very short wait before being taken to an exam room. I received a much better dx than the one I received from Urgent Care. Thank you.

Impressed with cleanliness of the facility. Staff very professional and costumer friendly. Down side is time it takes to get through your appointment, from checking until you leave. Wait time is not good. Tara seems to be very professional and gets things done for you to help the process moving. The technicians that takes you back should tell you their name (at least introduce themselves.) Procedure process is very good when they gat you to the back. Dr. F is just the greatest from reviewing you eyes to actual procedure and has a great bed side manner!

I had an emergency with my right eye. Filutowski Eye Institute took me right away. The office is very professional, clean and efficient. I highly recommend this service if you ever need a eye doctor.

I have confidence in Dr. Klimas and the back office staff. I have not been pleased with operations in the front office. There seems to be a different clerical staff at each visit. My dissatisfaction with the clinic is that my appointments have been changed without my knowledge. This has happened 3 times. 1. Apt date and time was same, but when I arrived I had been changed to another Dr. 2. When I received the reminder call the day before appointment my appointment time had been changed from morning to afternoon. I had to reschedule. 3. In August, I returned to town the night before my appointment. There was no message on our recorder. I arrived at the time of my appointment to be told I was there on the wrong date and time. No one had a clue as to when the change was made, or why it was made without my knowledge. It was a month later before I could get an appointment. I understand that appointments my need to be changed due to unexpected changes in a doctor's schedule. I do not understand the practice of changing appointments without calling and checking your patient's availability. Or at the very least calling when a change is made.

Everyone was friendly and professional. Amanda started the process and later did a scan. She was a charming young lady Dr. Croteau was not only personable, she listened carefully to my explanation of the symptoms I was experiencing before she did the examination. She then requested the scan to give her more information. She gave me clear information of what she saw and referred me to a retinal specialist and said we will schedule a YAG after seeing the retinal specialist. She took time to explain to me clearly what was happening. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming.

I love your office and the people and doctors! I just really don’t like that a 5 minute appt takes 2 hours all total. I have never been seen until at least 45 min after my stated appt time. After the first 3 minute exam it is dilation time then back to the waiting room. I understand that. Then being called back to see the doctor for the actual exam it is another 45-60 minute wait time in the exam room. Very frustrating

Extremely pleased with my first two visits at Filutowski Eye Institute. Prompt and courteous service. Tara, the Counselor that I show was “Over the Top”. She made me feel comfortable about the procedure and offered To check for financing if needed. All the doctors and technicians I saw were very professional. Yesterday I had my annual visit at FCLI. It was my first eye appointment since I had retired from Filutowski Cataract & Lasik Institute. The entire experience was great! From my first consult, pre procedure, procedure and post procedure. The staff is top notch and Dr. Filutowski is compassionate, efficient and explains things in an easy to understand language. Highly Recommend this experience to anyone. Today, I drove for the first time without glasses or contacts since I was sweet 16. That was 36 years ago!

The appt and service was great. The upsetting part is that the Dr wanted to see me back in 2 weeks, but that was impossible because the first appt available is not for 6 weeks. I feel uneasy and worried about my eye and not being seen when the Dr wanted to see me. I am not happy

My first few appointments didn't give me much hope, but with patience, I started to see some improvement. Now I believe with a little more patience, I should be seeing well again.

I am pleased with the staff, the facility and the Dr’s. However i am not pleased with the results. After my cataract surgery it was recommended I have YAG. I had the procedure but nothing changed. I still had the Claudine’s in my eyes. Then, It was recommended I see Dr. Nadar. After the consultation with Dr. Nadar he came to the conclusion that there was no problem with my retina. My vision is very poor with the cloudiness, halos and starburst, makes it difficult to drive, reed or work on my computer at work.

The only issue I had with my visit was that I had an appt for 7:40 however they added a test that they told me has been scheduled for 9:20 but they'd do me a favor by getting both done together. I was never informed of a 9:20 appt.

Overall my experience was professional , informative and I was made comfortable by all the staff I interacted with. I would suggest that the front counter check in staff be a little more attentive when multiple guests walk in and wait , which was my case. I counted 5 or 6 staff at the check in counter. As I stood there 3 or 4 had their backs to us the entire time while 2 others where assisting customers. Acknowledging us even if they were unable to assist would have relieved a little silent tension.
