My teeth and gums are so much healthier since I've been going to see Dr. Farthing. He has done several procedures that have saved my teeth and replaced others. My general health and specifically my heart health has improved. I've learned so much from the dental hygenists about dental care and what I can do to keep my teeth and gums healthy.

Front desk greets me with a smile and recognition. Hygienist Sara is a peach...skillful, gentle and thorough. Dr. Farthing is saving several of my teeth next week with a bone graft which sounds scary but I'm not even worried because I trust him so much.

Dr. Farthing did a pre-exam, then explained in detail what he would do. He also explained the cost of the process. That cost included the follow-up visits for the procedure, which was good. Usually, doctors tell you the cost of a procedure, then charge for each time they see you after the first visit. I much prefer to know the cost, all-in. Very professional, friendly office.

It was my first visit to this office. As soon as I went in there I felt comfortable. The front staff was nice and helpful, and I did not have to wait long to to send be seen by the dentist. As soon as I met him, I liked him. His manners are confident, gentle and seemed thorough and conservative in his dental assessment. This goes hand in hand with his extensive dental knowledge and practice. I went there for s second opionion- for the regular dentist I go to does not have the experience Dr. Farthing does. I will be getting work done here. I left that office feeling confident that Dr. Farthing was the person to take care of my mouth- something I highly value.

I was very happy with my session with Kaitlyn, but am somewhat puzzled that a long term patient can't get an appointment at the time increment recommend by Dr. Farthing. For years there was no problem scheduling the next appointment at a 3-month interval. Within the last year it's been rather difficult to do that. Are you not sufficiently staffed or are you keeping slots open to attract new patients at the expense of the current patients? Having been a patient of Dr. Farthing since last century when he was still in Aurora I find this change unsettling. Ingrid Lindemann

I was most impressed with a new procedure told to me by Dr. that I should dip metal wire small item in fluoride toothpaste and insert back and forth between each tooth. After so many years of implants, I learned something truly helpful and new to me.

Dr. Farting got to the bottom of a problem I’ve been having for several years with an implant that kept failing. After having it done twice elsewhere Dr. Farting repaired the issue and got to the bottom of the problem. The staff is great- his knowledge is superior. I highly recommend him and his team.

This visit was cleaning and a check up. Teeth feel very clean. The Dental tech showed me some new technics on power brushing to help prevent gum recession. Great experience. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Farthing is simply, the best. His staff is superb and I always feel I’m receiving the very best treatment and care. I never feel rushed and all of my questions are always answered thoroughly. I had consults with two other doctors before deciding and choosing Dr. Farthing for my gingival grafts. He was and still is the absolute right choice.

Schedule reminders, explanation of procedure

The office staff and Dr. Farthing were very professional and answered all my questions. My only suggestion would be to use a different method/equipment to obtain x-rays or to train the tech to use the equipment in a way that would be less painful to the patient and protect the patient's thyroid. The appliance was scratching the inside of my gum and I was told it had to be in that position and my head had to be tilted up to the point the lead drape/apron no longer protected my thyroid. I was told this position had to be used to protect her from radiation. She did not appear to be wearing any protection.

Kassandra was quite good- she was very thorough and gentle which I appreciated.

My two-week after my implant surgery was a positive experience. A few stitches were removed, which was painless. Dr. Farthing instructed my on how to resume brushing in the implant area and instructions on taking a new antibiotic. My next appointment will be in three weeks. Dr. Farthing and Kathleen give excellent follow-up care.

Alessandra did a marvelous job. I have considerable tooth sensitivity, which can make hygiene almost torturous. She patiently numbed my gums/teeth and used the sonic tool very carefully, with the result that I had no discomfort, let alone pain, during the cleaning.

Was baffled when a large pea sized growth showed up underneath my tongue. I have Sjogrens and therefore little or no saliva. Dr. Farthing saw me on very short notice, analyzed the situation as the formation of a stone in my salavary area. He suggested that I continue with salt water rinses and if not gone in one week.... I should see Ear, Nose and Throat Dr. I am grateful for his very patient and in depth discussion. He has been my Dr for between 38 and 40 years. That should tell you something!

Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, but Dr. Farthing, Gina and the staff make it the best it can be! Great treatment, advice and they know and understand me as an individual. I never feel like I'm just one of their many patients. I have and will continue to recommend this great team!
