Great customer service skills

Dr. Higa and the staff patiently and clearly answered all of my questions and concerns about my recent surgery. I was greeted very personably by the office staff.

Everyone is friendly they always smile when greeting you...Dr Higa is very understanding he never rush me about anything, he listens and always knows what is good for you and try his best to do what is best for his patients.

Everyone was very courteous and professional.

A friendly professional experience by everyone in the office.

Dr. Higa worked me in to his schedule for an eye injury and as always I was impressed by his skill, professionalism and warmth. Applause too, for his assistant Jason. And a pat on the back for Coco, for morale building. I'm lucky to be his patient.

Service and care. Also the speed and efficiency of the service.

I was taken in less than 15 minutes for vitals but had to wait 30 minutes for the doctor as it was busy.

Always friendly. Helps me understand what the next step will be. For example, possibly correction and why.

I was very happy with the atmosphere at Dr. Higa’s office. The reception was very welcoming and the visit overall was great. Drr. Higa was very kind and explained what was going on with my eye and what he can do for me. I felt very comfortable and am pleased with my visit.

Great surgical skills I was very pleased with the results. Excellent anesthesia and nursing support, virtually painless surgical experience. Explained procedure options clearly during initial visit. He and his staff was very accommodating when I asked him to change Medicare prior authorization request to his best recommendation versus my less optimal choice. Post surgical care was very clearly explained. Highly recommend and will return for any future needs.

Liked the Dr.’s explanation. Very helpful. Only thing the wait was kind of long. Over 1/2 hr past my appointment time.

I have not had ample time to heal from the sorcery. After the stitches are taken out and the bruising gone I can make an informed opinion.

Overall good experience

The purpose of my consultation with Dr. Higa on September 13, was to seek second opinion with regard to my recovery. I wanted affirmation that my recovery is on track as my original surgeon had said. All my questions were answered by Dr. Higa. I'm sure all surgeons including Dr. Higa are constantly barraged with the same questions: Am I okay? Why do I look odd? Why am I not healing fast enough? ETC. Unfortunately not all physicians are as engaging or as personable as Dr. Higa. His willingness to answer my endless sets of questions patiently was deeply appreciated. Thank you Dr. Higa for offering the assurances I needed. While I'm far from looking as the best version of myself, I feel at peace that I'm on the right path to recovery and God willing, all will work out in the end. All the best, MRS. M

Dr Higa and staff was Excellent .

Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

Eye exam appointment went great. Service was quick and efficient there were a few patients ahead of me but I didn't have to wait long before Doctor Higa would see me. The receptionist greeted me as she checked me the rest of the staff who saw were very pleasant which made me feel comfortable.

My husband & I have the greatest faith in Dr. Hugo Higa! We both had surgery done by him and wouldn't go to anyone else even if someone paid us. Dr. Higa is very professional and tends to every need of his patients. We fly over from the neighbor island and wouldn't have it any other way! Dr. Higa is great, his staff is well-trained, and you are seen at your appointment time! There is no long wait! I have been going to Dr. Higa from 2007 and trust him implicitly. He detects problems and treats them before they become bigger problems. Our lives are better with Dr. Higa because we have faith in him and believe in him 100%. I always say, "If Dr. Higa can't do it, nobody can!"
