I quickly got an appointment for an urgent need. It was gently and thoroughly taken care of and a plan to prevent recurrence was made. The facility was nice-downright picturesque, actually, and the staff was more than friendly and accommodating, which is a relief as someone who hasn't had an actual visit to a dentist office in years. Though I was there longer as a new patient than what seemed typical of return clients, the turnover was quick without giving me the impression that it was because of anything but the efficiency of the staff. 10/10.

I have no complaints. My appointment is scheduled and I don't have to wait forever to be seen. My teeth are cleaned well. The equipment that is used is so much better than the Dentist I used before. And I get an update on anything that maybe occurring.

Everything about my experience was outstanding: the scheduling process, receptionists when checking in, the dental hygienist, and a different receptionist at checkout. Very clean facility; updated procedures and equipment made for a pleasant experience (and I'm dental phobic!).

I came for 2 fillings but ended up getting 3. I ask my Dr if it was ok. I knew it was already late but she didn't mind. The crew was Excellent with providing me with the xtra service at the last minute with a 6 pm schedule appointment time.

The woman who cleaned my teeth was excellent. I felt well cared for and appreciate her attention to my needs. However, it took an extremely long time for me to be seen by the dentist. After over an hour of being there I still wasn’t seen. By the time I left (never having been seen by the dentist) I’d been there an hour and fifteen minutes. So had I waited and been seen, my appointment would have been a minimum of an hour and a half. This to me is an unreasonable amount of time for a dental appontment and not something I would have imagined upon scheduling it, which is why I eventually had to leave because I had somewhere I needed to be. I love this place for the quality but am unsure I can keep coming here if this continues to happen as I don’t know anyone who spends that long at a routine dental cleaning.

Our dental hygienist at the McHenry Row location is ha D’s down the absolute best with our children. Emma is informative, patient, and creates a friendly atmosphere. My two year old sits for her entire cleaning and check up and I give Emma the credit for this. I highly recommend this place to parents for their kiddos. The office staff was very knowledgeable and answered insurance related questions on the spot.

Staff was personable and professional, as always! I hate paperwork, so was disappointed that I had to fill out all the forms again for the new year. Hopefully, you will find a system that just asks for updates and lets the patient skip the rest. The cleaning and exam was the most thorough I've ever had. I was accustomed to 20-30 minutes at my last three dentists. Today was over an hour, with patience and precision, which I very much appreciate! Perhaps because of less thorough exams in the past, many issues were discovered today. So that's disappointing on several levels. There was a lot of information and interpretation, shared by hygienist, DDS, and patient liaison. I appreciate that very much, but may have been overwhelmed by the verbal information. When it came to my plan of care, my understanding was different that the patient liaisons. If there were a printout from the DDS I could read before going to scheduling, that would be helpful. Overall, I'm very comfortable and impressed with Horizon! I'd recommend your practice to anyone looking in the area.

The dentist and hygienist said something different then the front desk attendant.
