When Dr Cater retired I was totally anxious about having to see another dentist I was dreading it . But I can honestly say that Dr. Wattles is the perfect fit for the Rochelle office . He gives excellent care very thorough and I would highly recommend him. I also can’t say enough about Colleen his assistant. She knows her job very well and is wonderful with patients. What a surprise when Dr. Wattles called the next day to see how I was doing following insertion of a crown! I don't recall any dentist has done that in my 72 years! I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist and was really terrified about my appointment. I was set at ease immediately when I met my hygienist. She was SO sweet and gentle, constantly pausing to explain what she was doing and always checking in to make sure I was okay. She kept me laughing and comfortable the entire time. Dr. Gibson was very kind and funny. He explained a future dental procedure I’ll need in a way I could understand. This way by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist and I’m not even nervous about returning in the future!

Good, efficient cleaning by the hygienist comes with a thorough inspection of the oral tissues by the dentist. Evaluations are given to the patient and recommendations to other professionals are provided as needed. Overall, Dr. Halvorsen is the best dentist I’ve ever had.

I have been comming to Dr Stern since he came to this office. His work is always great. His staff is also top notch.

The appts and staff are usually great; but the lab that is used seems to have an inordinate amout of mistakes, etc that cause significant delays and thereby some real issues for the person who has to continue wearing painful partials, etc .

I appreciate the fact that when my appointment is at 11, I am in the chair at 11. Dr. Stern and his staff are very professional and made my root canal as comfortable & painless as possible.
