Midway Optometry. I've been to lots of Optometrists in my life - even ophthalmologists. Some have been very good. But Dr Matthews is among the very best ever. And Dawn did a great job with some of the testing. Dr Matthews got to the core of the problem quickly. I got a lesson in preventative eye maintenance. It was the first time in my life I was ever told about the problem in the tear ducts along my eyelids. As for the glasses, which was the reason for the appt, I learned it wasn't my eyes, it was the glasses I had - the newest ones were poor glass - not highest quality. So I went back to the previous glasses. It was the first time in my life I was told that I didn't need new glasses.

Exceptional place to have your eyes checked. The staff is friendly, organized and honest. They lead by example. You wont find a more confident caring Dr. Dr.Michael Matthews knows what he is doing. I came from Scripps who made a mistake and rather than check to confirm the readings they took were wrong, they refused to allow me to see another eye Dr unless i wanted to pay again out of pocket. Midway Optometry has been amazing to my wife and I. From Doctor to receptionists it is a top notch class A office that is a pleasure to walk into. It's clean, welcoming, warm and the displays are very informational. I must also mention that the location is very convenient. From the office, you can take care of a number of errands because of the great business area it's in.
