The doctor was very informative prior to my face skin resurfacing, providing realistic expectations regarding the outcome of the procedure. She did a good job with the CO2 laser, took the time to answer all my questions during the follow-up meeting and I am very pleased with the results so far. Her assistant, Michelle, was very thorough in answering my questions via phone and email to guide through the post procedure healing process and in recommending effective products for moisturization and sun protection. The medical part was excellent, I wouldn't change Dr. Nicolitz for any other doctor, his assistants are also awesome. However, the front desk part was not so good. I think it is not good to require the deductible before we even sign our names on the list. It is not professional and gives the impression that the only thing that matters is the money, not the health of the patient, which should be the most important part of our visit. Thanks.

Donna explained to me what we were doing today & did testing. Emily assisted with Dr. Champion and they said I only got 10% better on the prior eye drops & wanted me to try eye serum. I have been on it a week and it seems to be helping. I go back & see them on the 20th of next month They are very kind and available if you call. Emily calls me back.

Never have to wait a long time and of course Dr. Champion is the best. She is so calm and reassuring to her patients.

Dr. Champion was great on my first visit and immediately diagnosed my problem which I have been dealing with for years. She referred me to Dr. Kulak who performed the eyelid surgery and it has made a difference. Hardly no swelling or pain. Can't wait to get the other eye done.

I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving at office. The assistant was very professional and pleasant. After her tests were concluded I was taken into Dr. Nicolitz's exam room and seen by him within minutes. So happy for the fast service and great exam.

Everything was great as usual. Very short wait time, and everyone was pleasant and professional as always and very knowledgeable. Today specifically Selina was extra patient with me on some insurance issues. My only suggestion... which has happened most visits ... there is a lot of discussions between the doctor and his assistants back and forth while the doctor is examining me ... it's all in technical terms... I have no idea what they are discussing as I can't understand all the medical terms and abbreviations. I want to know what he's saying but don't want to interrupt ... and at the end, there was so much said I don't know where to start in asking for it to be translated. It all flew over my head. I try to ask ... but it's been 5 minutes or so of words and abbreviations I didn't understand all while my face was up against the examination machine.

Cleanliness of restrooms need addressing. Both 3rd and 1st floor. Floors, especially corners not clean and chests not dusted well. Items on top not moved for cleaning. None of this is terrible, just reflects poorly on the practice. Back up paper supplies should be handy for staff to replace.

I gave it a 4 because of Dr Champion. The beginning prep was not that good. My eyes did not get refracted! So I have an old prescription which the tech pronounced as good. Maybe it is and maybe it is not.

Great visit. The staff technician to Dr. Nicholitz (?Tricia?) kept me informed along the way as to when the doctor would see me. My wait times were reasonable. The Doctor assured me about the frequency of my visits were to map the intrusion of Glaucoma knowing that at any time my symptoms may change...for the worse. Therefore monitoring was needed every four months. I always enjoy interacting with each staff member. I noticed that Shirley at the checkout took extra time to make sure my chart and future appointments lined up with Florida Blue guidelines. Shirley's attention to detail is noteworthy.

The dr is outstanding and I would trust her with whatever procedure she recommended. My only comments are that when I went in for the work-up prior to scheduling is that the tech who was doing the initial work-up dilated my eyes----evidently NOT to be done before getting measurements.....so had to reschedule an appt for measurements.....another 1 hr drive.....Then during the "in between" appt, the tech examined the wrong eye, so, once again had to be re-examined to get correct information.....Certainly 2 mistakes that could have been avoided if, #1, the techs paid attention to what they were supposed to be doing, #2, the techs truly knew what they were supposed to be doing. Obviously not a 'life threatening' situation, but definitely an inconvenience. Hopefully this won't happen again. Having said this, I will continue with this wonderful doctor......just would like to see a better run/more efficient office situation.

I did not have a scheduled appointment but called having a lot of allergy eye symptoms. They worked me in immediately. I was given drops for my eyes and asked to follow up on Friday. My examination was thorough. And though I had a little bit of an issue with confirming my coverage, the staff was very patient and friendly.

Usually come at 8a. Today, day after Christmas, came at 10 and it was crowded. We had to wait at one point for a testing room. We were there a little over 2 hours, which is longer than when we go earlier. With that said, we have always been pleased with Dr Nicolitz and his staff.

After cateract surgery on one eye, I was surprised to find that looking with one eye, I saw blue, with the other eye, I saw yellow. After the second surgery, I asked my husband whether the sky had always been this color blue. I had worn glasses for 75 years. Now I can read or watch television without benefit of glasses. I can even see the football during a forward pass. To say that I am pleased with the results is an understatement.

I received a refraction but was disappointed the doctor was busy with another patient and was unable to finalize my prescription. It was finalized by the tech who did the exam. I don't feel confident in getting the prescription filled until a doctor finalizes it. I am scheduled to see the doctor in August and will wait until then to have the prescription confirmed before filling the prescription.

I thought your service was great. The only issue, which was handled perfectly, was that I was asked to agree to a once in a lifetime test that I knew I already had. I would have paid $20 should that not be covered by insurance. I was certain I had this done before, but that was questioned by the tech a few times. I asked her kindly to research that before I signed. She did, and I was correct. I already had the test. So my only feedback would be to research that more before you charge patients. If people weren’t aware, that would have been a useless test and charge to me. That being said, all of your staff is friendly. The appointment was as timely as it could have been. This facility is state-of-the-art in equipment for all diagnostic and procedural care. The surgical center on the 1st floor is very convenient and all of the doctors associated with this practice are superb. We are grateful to be in such good hands since the gift of sight is so precious and worthy of guarding at the highest level.

Everyone at Nicolitz Eye Consultants is great. They are kind, competent and caring, especially Dr. Champion, Dr. Kulak and their staffs. My only complaint is the long delay before being seen. Many times over the years I have spent hours in the waiting room because a doctor is behind schedule. I always arrive early for my appointments, so these waits have at times become almost unbearable, especially for surgery aftercare.

The staff is pleasant. The only thing I’m not happy about is that I have never received any response regarding the doctors appealing to my insurance company to help pay for contacts that are medically necessary for the eye condition that I have been diagnosed with since 2009. My insurance changes next year and will not be accepted and all I am told is I can go to someone else. I don’t switch doctors based on insurance. I’m loyal to good doctors. I just would like a little to feel some reciprocation.
