Best family dentistry in the area. My kids previously were afraid to go to the dentist but after only one visit here and they feel relaxed about going to the dentist. Both my husband and I had awesome experience with dr. Rand and his team.

I was very satisfied with the care I received at Rand Dentistry

First time patient and I am very anxious about going to the dentist. It was clean and everyone was really nice. I was able to fill out my paperwork online which made my appointment go smoother and faster. I am not sure how to spell the hygienist name Minyala, she was excellent and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Rand came in after and went over the plan for my teeth. He took the time to show me problem areas on the X-rays. I really appreciate the extra care and time spent explaining next steps. I would highly recommend Rand Dental to anyone.

Well I am very upset thought because tgere is no periodontist tgere anymore and the one they are referring people to does not take my insurance so now I have to drive even further than the 45 minutes I already drive

My daughter got her first cavity and needless to say tensions were high as we both didn’t know what to expect. Dr Kwak was so kind, gentle and understanding to the fact that my daughter was nervous and was pretty amazing the way she handled it. The assistant(I can’t remember her name, I’m sorry) was also very sweet and understanding as well. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much!

Well I always had a good visit with everyone and I like the staff in the people but the last visit I had they told me they no longer take my insurance and did giving me no explanation I'm so I am very sad about that but all in all I would give you a good review

This visit was a bit of both good and bad. I came in and took x ray photos and for the first time ever the hygienist mentioned and asked about my permanent retainers. I was surprised because I have been a patient here for years and no one has ever mentioned or payed much attention to them. After she asked how I was doing cleaning them I told her I could not floss in between them and that last time I was in I asked for the floss threaders but when I got home they would not fit through my retainer. After looking over my teeth she told me that the reason I could not fit force behind my retainers was because there was a ton of hard guilt up plaque. The process in which the plaque was removed was very painful and I feel as though the hygienist could’ve been a bit more sensitive since my gums were very clearly swollen and it was sensitive. I was very grateful when she was finished to feel my retainer clean for the first time in years. I I feel as though the last time I was in the dentist before this the hygienist failed to clean my retainer properly.

Dr. Karen is amazing! Front staff needs some work they are not friendly and they don’t acknowledge you until you have been standing in front of them for a few minutes.

As always, professional, friendly, personable hygienist and same with the doctor. This experience was particularly lovely. I didn't know a supplement I was taking with staining my teeth. They knew what the problem was right away, and surprised me with cleaning them and when she showed me the mirror, I cried. Yes it's a little thing. But I kind of needed that right now. She didn't have to do that, and it was just a lovely surprise. She was wonderful, gentle, thorough, genuine and an overall great experience yet again at Rand Dental. Thank you!

It is always consistent, satisfactory dental treatment at Rand Dental! I am a former Dental Assistant, so I know quality standards of care and Dr. Rand, dr. Fernandez and the entire staff are THE BEST! From cleanings to root canals, even for the faint of heart who are terrofoed of Dentists, I assure you, you are in great hands! From 2007/8, I have been a patient, and Dr. Rand fixed several problems/mistakes from another dentist. It is very sad, Rand Dental will no longer accept patients with Community plans like Amerigroup, United healthcare or Horizon Mercy. I got a question to ask you. A long time ago, dentists used to do root canals and crowns at the same place in one sitting or one shot. Now I got referred to somebody else to another endodontist? It It not like this anymore. How come? Why is that? After I got checked.

Christina, Hygienist, cleaned my teeth. She was very thorough, polite & professional. She also educated me about how one if my health issues could affect my gum health in the future. Dr. Rand surprised both if us by coming in to look @ my X-rays, inspect my mouth & do an oral cancer screen. Took pictures of my gold fillings to share with his dental staff. It's nice to see he's not too proud to jump in when other dentists aren't free to complete a routine exam.

I had an issue with a broken tooth and they got me right in and temporarily fixed it. then got me an appointment in a few days for a permanent fix. They were very caring.

Tracy is an excellent dental hygienist. She’s very kind and personable, and goes out of her way to make the patient feel comfortable. I had no pain at all during my cleaning.

Great service all around

My surgery went very well. But, leading up to the surgery I was told someone from Rand Dental would call me to let me know how to prepare for the surgery. They never called, so I had to call myself just before Rand Dental closed. Also, the emergency line after the surgery didn’t respond very quickly, but when they did respond what they said was helpful. My only complaint with the surgery was that one of the stitches wasn’t cut back, which was a bit annoying for a day or two. Otherwise, very good!

I had a deep cleaning with hygienist Tracy She was great friendly,caring ,personable and very professional and thorough job on my cleaning..I am so happy to have Tracy as my hygienist such a wonderful experience as I have anxiety and she is just so pleasant and kind thank you Tracy great job my teeth have never felt cleaner after all your work I appreciate it!!

I have huge anxiety about dentists. I have had very bad experiences with dentist every time I went. Only once did I have a dentist the was nice, treated me well, listened to me, and didnt judge me or treat me like an idiot. That is until now. I would say my visit was a success. They were kind, respectful, compassionate. They understood how I was feeling and helped me through it. The only negative thing I could say is I felt like I was rushed a little bit. Loved the hygenist and her cleaning. Atmosphere was alittle crowded and incomfortable. Equipment looked dated and rooms could use some updating, painting and ceiling cleaned. Happy with the people that worked there though.

The doc, Dr Fern was a minimalist. We took the least invasive solution that he suggested. Good to not be sold a package of goods.

Most tasks were performed well. Glove usage needs work. Some were using the keyboard of the computer without gloves and then the dentist used keyboard and then touched patient without changing gloves or sanitizing. I had to have my daughter rinse with peroxide solution as a precaution.

Nalani the hygienist, is fabulous! Always so gentle with my cleaning. Extremely professional as well as knowledgeable. You are quite a distance from me but I am extremely pleased with the way she does my teeth cleaning that I do not mind it at all. I am happy I have found your practice and look forward to coming back soon.

It was a pleasure to meet Christine, my hygienist for this most recent visit. I literally have not had one single hygienist who I would criticize negatively, from Rand Dental. It was a sad day when I had to leave my dentist of 35 years when I wasn't allowed to keep my doctors back when ObamaCare promised I would. I knew that hygienist and Doctor my whole oral hygiene life to that point. It was small, Mom and Pop's kind of thing. Personal. So having to make a change to a bigger place, you would think would be run like an assembly line, but it was quite refreshing to see and experience the professionalism, courtesy, ethics, and careful conscientious care. The only thing I would say which is no big deal really, and I could have spoken up so, my fault, was a short break between the steps in the cleaning procedure. Mr. Thirsty, was in the same spot on my tongue for a while and was uncomfortable, but again, I could have spoken up about that. No big deal, just some pain and jaw fatigue, but she did an excellent job, I would have her again, and Dr Fernandes is also consistently wonderful as well. So, for a big place and I've never seen the same hygienist twice, definitely patterns of consistent greatness and quality of care. Thank you! Another great visit with another great team.

Staff was great. Dr. was great and very helpful. When you get novocain...never pleasant, but that is on me; looking forward to follow up. Wish more understanding/patience could have been made regarding insurance moving to the dentistry under the COBRA plan fo me. Do not know if that was trust in me? I was not happy with it not reporting or in place even though I had paid for it since 1/1/21. I believe good this week (2/22) and office is moving forward.

Took me at 11:22 for my 11:15 appointment. At 11:42 I was in my car driving home. Never had the dentist check my teeth after the cleaning. Never in all my life have I had a cleaning in under 20 minutes. Technician was new. Maybe rushing because she was behind schedule.

Dental Hygienist and Tooth extraction was seamless and professional

I was scheduled for my first cleaning and mouth guard on 1/20/2021. The staff is always on time and very professional. Mouth guard procedure was perfect. Due to the hygienists being very busy, Dr. Fernandez completed my cleaning. Yes Dr Fernandez!! Excellent cleaning. Then he left the room and came back with a wonderful hygienists who removed all the stains from my teeth. The best cleaning I ever had!! Thank you all sooooo much!! I look forward to my next visit. My 1st experience at Rand center for dentistry was caring and honest. Rosa was my hygienist and cleaned my teeth the best I ever had. The entire staff was helpful and friendly to me.

It was discovered on my routine 6- monthly dental visit, that I needed a tooth pull and a dental implant. Having been traumatized multiple times by other dentists in the past, I have severe dental phobia when it comes to procedures other than routine cleanings. I opted for sedation. Dr. Gugala & Dental Hygienist Alex really listened to my back story and handled me with the utmost professionalism & kindness. I will have to go back several more times to complete the imant process. I feel I'm in good hands with Dr. Gugala. In general, the office has the highest standards of protecting staff & patients during this Covid crisis while maintaining kind and gentle mannerisms when dealing with patients and their family. It's great to have a dental office that has dental specialists come to the office instead of patients having to take a chance on getting a stranger to do dental procedures. It's also palpable that Dr. Rand cares for his staff. They have state of the art PPE.

I love the hospitality when you walk into the office. Everyone makes you feel at home once you walk in the door at the time you leave.

As an individual who neglects and deprives ones health and oral hygiene for decades I finally committed myself to self-care. I was pleasantly presented with the utmost respect and proper precautionary measures in place due to the virus. There facility appeared to be sanitized and effective measures were in place to prevent germs from spreading. Upon my initial visit with the dentist I was greeted with a smile and questions pertaining to oral hygiene concerns. The dentist performed a thorough cleaning with not even the slightest discomfort. The dentist quickly and effectively diagnosed and made recommendations for further treatment. I followed his suggestions and immediately booked an appointment with availability for the next day! My return visit availed the exact same experience which there consistency and service is second to none. They sincerely care for there clients and in return we can learn to care for ourselves!

Excellent, authentic, genuine care. I work in healthcare and often get this heart in to see the lack of sincerity that I myself put forth from the so for the good of my patients and team with whom I'm working. It is a rarity today and I've enjoyed every hygienist and Night Guard impressionist including and especially the one I had during my most recent visit. Front desk included, 90% of them very friendly. I am open-minded however I had to leave the dentist that had and loved, for 35 years. I saw him since my first cleaning in life. Small office, Mom and Pop's just the way I like it. It was family and all my family went there. They remember everything about your life and it just feels so personal and impersonal world. I was pretty disappointed because my insurance plan changed, and didn't think I would find a similar experience. While Rand is definitely not a small operation, and there's more than one dentist and hygienist, and you won't really get that continuation of personal care, you are treated with respect, friendliness, and excellent work everyone who you meet. My initial first impression was that the office was way too busy. Most dental offices I've been to are small and more personal. Dr. Schuessler was very kind and warm and knowledgeable.

Monica was my hygienist, she is professional, knowledgeable and positive. She explains everything she is doing, always with a smile. Dr Lee was my doctor and she was through and answered my questions regarding a minor pain that I had. She advised how to properly floss that area.

Laura my hygienist is awesome. She has helped me to get the best possible results with my gum loss. Unfortunately, she can't help with my bone loss. She saw a small cavity spot on the outside of one of my teeth at my cleaning, she moved me to another room and took care of it right away. She is by far the best hygienist I have ever had. Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and goes the distance for her patients.

I don’t think I’ve ever had my teeth cleaned so gentle and so professional before. She took x-rays very gentle and explain to me step-by-step everything that she was going to do. Then I met Dr. Patel who I will be seeing again this Friday. She was also very friendly and thorough. The complete visit Was number one in my book.I even got to pick my color toothbrush LOL. So happy to have found a wonderful dentist and more important very kind, professional, and welcoming staff!

I brought my 73-year-old sister, who has Alzheimer's and who was not always in a co-operative mood, in for a dental appointment. Throughout our prolonged time there, every member of the staff was kind, patient and concerned about our well being while efficiently performing their jobs. It was our first time there, and it could have easily been overwhelming if not for staff who took the time to care.

Quick process: didn’t need to wait long. Teeth cleaning was fast and painless as well.

The doctor was amazing! I did, however, have several issues with the billing. I was informed about an hour before my consultation that I would have to pay a considerable amount of money on the same day. I considered cancelling the appointment, but had already taken time off from work for it, so I went in. After some discussion with the person at the front desk, I was allowed to pay a portion of the bill and I promised to pay the balance by the end of the month. I explained that I would not be paid until the following morning; it was agreed that I could leave a check. The next morning, I awoke to a message that I had been assessed an overdraft fee by my bank because the dental office had submitted my check overnight, rather than waiting until the next day. The bank was kind enough to refund the $35 fee, as they considered it a "merchant error". This is not okay. I'm a single parent, and I live on a tight budget. My money goes to specific places each month; it's extremely difficult to produce money the SAME DAY , without any prior notice. While I understand that insurance companies can be difficult to deal with, I fail to understand why there can't be a little flexibility when dealing with patients. I certainly don't understand why a check has to be cashed before the agreed upon date. This caused extreme hardship for my family.

The hygienist there is my absolute favorite. I can't say enough about how great she is. :)

Front desk staff was really cool, I was disappointed in the dentist though. Doctor Lee only spent like 2 minutes with me and even though I was only being seen for one tooth, that felt like I wasn't given a reasonable amount of care.

I accompanied my girlfriend to the dentist and asked her what she thought about Rand and she was very positive about her prior first experience there. So I spoke with the receptionist and asked if I could schedule an appointment for the near future, to my surprise she said she would be able to fit me in immediately. I was able to have a cleaning done which was excellent and painless the hygienist was able to make me feel like I was a life long patient and explained everything to me as he went along. I saw a dentist immediately who also explained in detail how to brush my gums properly and what the level of care that was needed was minimal if any. Again the dentist made me feel like a life long patient there, he was also the same dentist my girlfriend had spoken highly of prior to me accompanying her there. Everything went well and everyone was professional as well as courteous. I’ve been a patient for almost 20 years and am very satisfied overall with Rand Dental. I am now 65, and the cost of my recent root canal and crown will come to over $3,000. Yet my dental insurance won’t cover a penny until a year from now. Ludicrous! I needed the work done now. My point is that Medicare and supplemental plans don’t cover dental, and the dental plans available to seniors seem sorely lacking. Dr Rand, please consider some sort of accommodation or discount for your older patients! Our teeth will not be getting stronger as we age—we will need more costly procedures and have way less income to pay for them. Thanks for your time.

Monica was my hygienist - excellent. Recently moved to Flanders needed a cleaning. She is very through, knowledgeable, a top notch hygienist. Dr Fernandez performed a examination. Also knowledgeable. Look forward to using RAND for all my dental needs.

I was able to get a very quick appt for a sensitive area in a new filling. The appt lasted about 15 min with Dr. Lee and her assistant. As always they are very courteous! Great visit.

The experience I had with the oral surgeon was good however it’s like a meat market. There’s always delays we had an hour delay they should have called to tell us that so we sat and waited. Staff running all over the place like chickens without their heads. Also there’s always a very large turnover Of doctors.

This is the second time that I have had Laura as my hygienist and I find her to be extremely friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciate the detail she goes into when explaining observations she made during the visit. Highly recommended.

The hygentist was awesome! I was freaked out about a spot on my front tooth and she explained all about staining and what causes it and to brush after eating/drinking certain things. She got the stain off completely and I left with pearly whites!

We were running 10 minutes late & they took us right in. The whole staff was very friendly and professional. The assistant that was cleaning my daughters teeth was very patience with her and did an amazing job. I was prepared for you to tell me she needed braces, because hey that’s your bread & butter so to speak. Braces are a huge mark up and most insurance companies pay little to no part of it. To my surprise, you told me she has a small over bite and a little crowding but they felt she didn’t need brace. WHEN DO YOU EVER HEAR THAT!!?!? I couldn’t believe it. So on top of having amazing customer service, you are honest. I am highly satisfied with my decision to come here & I would highly recommend coming here for anyone looking for a great dentist.

Rosa was great! She was very positive and extremely pleasant. I'm very nervous about dental procedures, even cleanings, but her upbeat attitude and conversation put me at ease. She was also very conscious of some painful spots while she was working and took care not to hurt me. I've had bad experiences at the dentist in the past but she gave me a great one! Thank you Rosa!

The women at the front desk are always so nice - no matter how harried they are because this is a busy practice and I’m sure they could use some help. It’s important to have sweet and smiling faces upon entering because it’s usually a stressful thing, and the last thing anyone needs is a grumpy, scowling-faced person greeting you! The nurse/assistant who had taken my X-ray a couple of days prior to this procedure, and then assisted with the oral surgeon on this day, (I wish I knew her name) was SO NICE and comforting to be around, and she remembered me and was genuine. The surgeon (don’t know his name either unfortunately) was wonderful - really nice guy who didn’t just rush in and out. He made eye contact with me and was very present.

Just a quick note, I have been going to Rand dental for a few years now, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bondings (your basic visits). Every single time has been a professional experience. Everyone is so friendly, caring, approachable, down to earth, able to answer questions. They understand your needs right away and take care of you. The girls that answer the phone are very accommodating and quick, never have to hold for 20 minutes to make an appointment like other places. I went while pregnant, my hygienist sensed I was nervous about my upcoming delivery and was comforted by her with very caring and informational pieces of advice. Dr. Fernandez, he evaluates immediately and takes care of you without delay. This is not a place that will make you come and go for no reason. They simply just take care of you!

I came in for my routine cleaning. In the process, one of my fillings fell out. The dentist offered to repair it on the spot, saving me from having to come back. I really appreciated that.

My family has been seeing Dr Rand since the mid 90's I believe. He certainly has grown! This time though I got the sense that maybe it's too much for this location. The halls are tight, people were bumping into each other, the rooms seemed to be seperated only by a drape which made me feel like I was in someone else's appointment. Don't get me wrong, I'll always come here, but it just seemed like a "factory" this time.

I was past due on having a cleaning. I arrived at the office, completed the required paperwork and was taken in immediately. The hygienist, Laura, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and informative. After my cleaning and xrays, the dentist came in. He reviewed my x-rays, explained what services would be required. He also was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I actually enjoyed my experience at Rand and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Cleaning was great. But I had a filling fall out two days before the cleaning which I called two days before the cleaning lo let you know. The dr checked it out at my appointment and told me to schedule with front desk...,not too happy that the next appointment I could get was 10 days later. So I’m having to deal iwith a hole in my tooth until the 25th.

I was told by my regular dentist last week I needed my wisdom teeth out. I called many different oral surgeons and the earliest I was able to be seen would be the end of March. Then 4 days ago I started having major issues and pain with my wisdom teeth. Jaw pain, ear, throat and facial swelling. No way could I wait until the end of March. I called Rand dental and told them what was going on and explained the severe pain I was in (so bad I almost went to the er the night prior) they told me they could take me in that day for an oral surgery consult. I saw Dr. Gugala; he told me the top two needed to come out. He was able to remove them while I was there. I was terrified to have them out to begin with not to mention having them removed suddenly. I decided the current pain couldnt wait until possible the summer so I went for it. He checked my pain level consistently after the novacaine was administered. While removing the teeth he repeatedly asked how I was doing. Thank you so much Rand Dental for seeing me the pain I was having was gone as soon as the tooth was removed. I would rather have the current pain from the removal then the prior pain I had 10x over because it by far was the worst pain so I cannot thank you enough!

Your Dentist is one of the best but that's not the same with Logistic Transportation company. Because I didn't use them as a round trip, Logistic kept telling your receptionist that none of their cabs was available to take me back home & the wait to get one was 3 and a half hours even after your Clinic closes at 5pm. I had to spend $40 to get back home with another cab from your town. If Logistic can't drive us after 5pm, I rather get early Dentist appointments from now on. I thought there are other companies that accept my insurance providing cab services in Flanders.

In my mid fifties, the oral hygienist that worked on me was easily the best I’ve had in my life! So much so that I asked to be seen by her only in the future. She was incredibly well-versed in her field, energetic, but above all - the least intrusive hygienist who has ever cleaned my teeth… and I do get them done every six months.

I liked how clean everything was, quick and professional, I really thought I was going to lose my tooth and now I have the hope for a root canal! I’m really looking forward to coming back.

I came in with my son who is 2.5 years old for his bi-yearly check up. The staff who served him were absolutely phenomenal and comforting of his feeling scared of what was going to happen. They wanted to ensure that he sees coming to the dentist as positive so they did not force anything that wasn't necessary at this time. They were so patient and positive with him and they truly deserve two thumbs up!

Everything went really well and I was very pleased with the procedure. The only comments I have are I wish I could have scheduled my follow-up ahead or time or that there was more availability. It also would have been useful to be given written instructions for the next couple days instead of having to look up what to do and try to find trustworthy sites. But besides that everything was great!

Everyone is very friendly. When I came in for my appointment I had the wrong date and they accommodated me that same day.l always had a good experience there and they always ask how I feel after my appointment.

The hygienist (Ellie?) was efficient and thorough--she was wonderful. I do have one comment about the desk staff. I came in a little early, and I went up to the sliding glass window. A woman was seated there and was on the phone. She did not look up or acknowledge my presence. After trying to make eye contact for a minute or two, I felt awkward like she could not be bothered signing me in, and I sat down. No one opened the window to check me in after that. But when a tall, imposing male entered the office, the glass door slid open immediately and he was helped. I usually don't write about negative experiences, but I truly felt the staff's behavior was rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming. Patients should not feel ignored--there are plenty of dental offices to choose from!

My hygienist was excellent! Laura or Laurie explained everything clearly and had a great "bedside manner". I have been with Rand for 18 years or so and while my experiences have always been good, she took it to the next level: Professional, personable, caring.

I am always treated professionally and personally when I am in the office. The clinician who cleaned my teeth did a great job and was informative. Dr. Rand made it a point to say hello and touch base. I cannot imagine seeing another dentist at this point.

As somebody who hasn’t been to the dentist in longer than I could tell, I was admittedly worried about going in. The receptionists were nothing but welcoming and Laura was absolutely outstanding. Very kind and focused heavily on what I was doing right and was clear about what I needed to do more of or differently. I left, not only comfortable with everything, but almost excited about setting up a schedule to get my teeth fixed. Poor treatment of me as a patient and downright condescension from other practices kept me away for far too long, but Laura and the team at Rand Dental really did a lot to reinstill my confidence.

This hygienist was the FIRST hygienist in your practice to clean my teeth with the water pic thing. I said how happy I was that the practice finally uses it since I haven't had it used since my last dentist. She told me that it was always available. I wonder why none of the other hygienists used it on me. Please look into my cleaning history and get the names of the other hygienists who took care of me and find out why they didn't utilize this service with me. I will stick to this hygienist because she is thorough.

Everyone is so kindhearted and patient, from the front desk to the dentists. They all went out of their way to make me comfortable and to put me at ease as soon as I came in the door. They're all such lovely people. If you have any anxiety about having dental work done GO HERE! I needed to see 3 specialists, all were absolutely wonderful. A special shout-out to Dr. Manasse !

At my visit 6 months ago I had a bonding done. The color wasn't matched well and it doesn't look so good. I'm now scheduled to have another bonding done soon. I hope this time it is done better.

I had a great consultation with the oral surgeon. To date I have not had any work done yet, but I feel confident my surgery will go well.

My hygienist is wonderful. She explains everything, works efficiently, and never causes any pain in the mouth. I highly recommend her. She is positive and makes me feel good about the treatment being done. Great work!

My visit was for a periodontal maintenance cleaning. The hygienist first discussed the procedure and then gave me good tips about proper cleaning under my bridges when I was done. Overall, a good experience, as usual.

Great experience..especially with the support staff who are working hard on my insurance costs and a good treatment plan to get best deal with my insurance...appreciate them thx agsin... PS...They need raises...a business is only as strong as support scheduling staff and unfortunately are often underpaid.

I received an emergency appointment without delay. I was surprised I was taken exactly on time. I be never had a better nova cane shot ( dr Fernandez. I was given another appointment the next day with dr book and again it was exactly on time and excellent service. Better than any visits I’ve ever had

Feedback of last Saturday's visit: The waiting time was short, and the informations that were asked on paper, were not needed to fill it out again, just needed the signature, which is great; save time. Overall, I had a good experience on the visit.
