The nurse went out of her way to help me with my RX when she didn't have to and because of her I was able to get everything that I needed. She even got the optical department to help me. I really appreciated it.

Very good info and hell full staff. I do need to check with my insurance with scan because they said they would pay for a check up once every two years but I guess Not in your system. It was kind of funny because they gave me the discount when I ordered my glasses through the Costco They said that scan did give the discount.

It sounds simple. Read the small line with the other eye closed and so on. But after 60 years of wearing eyeglasses one learns that there’s more to it. Dr Smet has always presented those significant differences that are not found in every office. In short. Eye exams should feel like your concerns are important for every obvious reason. Dr Duong was very help during my exam- I had used mono vision for the last 30 years but was having trouble with my right eye which is my dominant eye. He has now switched me to regular vision and this should me a lot more while driving at night. Thank you for your help & connselling.

Clerk at front was courteous and remained friendly even though the phone kept ringing and walk-in customers interrupting. However, will not be cost effective to have two clerks. Just need to come-up with a better system. The OD was pleasant and attentive. She asked the pertinent questions. I know it's a different dept. or even a company but I need to give a shout out to the clerk at the optical dept. His name was Miguel (Cypress Costco). Of all the years we've been getting glasses at CostCo never did I encounter one who was more diligent, attentive and customer centric. He measured the vertical line distance for the progressive and repeated it until I was satisfied with the two pairs I was buying. All my progressive glasses purchased from Costco had the reading (lower) portion too low or high - that's because they never asked. They just put a dot on the glasses. This was going to be the last time that I bought glasses from Costco if it's not to my liking. I'm sure Miguel got it right and redeemed the past clerks. My wife also purchased a pair and she got the same great customer service.

Same day appointment, successfully advised and have contact lenses to try. Ordering the lenses at the busy “business” side was not quite as pleasant. It was like a deli waiting to get service. I have to go back in to pick up my order and really think the lenses should come to my home. There must be a reason for this but I can’t think of a good one.

Doctor Smet is professional and does a comprehensive exam efficiently and gets you in and out of the office quickly. Her office takes VSP vision insurance and her assistant takes care of all of that so I don’t have to worry. Thanks Dr. Sent for making my yearly eye exams so easy and hassle free!

Doctor appointment as a walk in and doctor saw me immediately. I have an unusual situation and doctor's solution has worked well. I opted for single lens and I will go back for 2nd pair of glasses to get bifocal or whatever its called so I can see long distance while taking notes in class (which is what doctor recommended in first place). My visit with Dr. Smet was super easy. I waited maybe 5 minutes, did a quick pre eye test with the office assistant, then had my first ever adult eye exam with him, easy and painless. I’ve never had vision problems so I didn’t know what to expect, by Dr. Smet and his team made the whole thing super fast, simple and cheap :)
