I was surprised the office is not ADA compliant. There is a step at the front door and the back door. That was an ordeal however, Dr Wu was so kind, understanding and treated my Mom so sweetly , I will overlook the entrance issue.

On October 4, appointment was at 10am, but had to wait til 10:45 to be called.

Friendly staff dr was a bit fast with the cleaning but overall satisfied.

I appreciate the cleanliness and the up to date equipments and I was called soon after I arrived without delay. Areas for improvement would be: 1. A friendlier greeting as I walked in would be more welcoming. The first technician who calls me in should self introduce himself. 2. The cleaning procedure could be gentler without spraying water all over my face and glasses. 3. The polishing was rushed and didn’t feel thorough.

There was no wait at all, the staff was all courteous and helpful. They were using some new technology that I hadn't seen before. A great experience, I am grateful!

The only thing i find uncomfortable about the visit was the minimal communication with the assistants and dentist. I think a little communication such as introductions and explaining parts of the procedures to kind of keep the patient involved would go along way to improving the experience. Otherwise, great!

Everyone in the office is super nice and helpful. Front desk ladies acknowledge you when you walked in the door, which makes you feel comfortable right away, even tho they were busy with other patients. Waiting room is tight having only 2 chairs, not the best use of space but I understand post pandemic still good to keep some distance, wear masks and just be courteous of one’s space.. patients parking in back lot and the street not as aware, 1 car taking up 2 spaces on the street and 1 car blocking entry way to parking lot.. but not a problem still able to find close parking.. Very busy office! But the front desk ladies will get you scheduled, all your needs met? What’s covered through insurance, out of pocket cost , Prescriptions? They take great care to get you smiling and on your way.. I had a very nice experience.. so happy to say, I think I made the right decision to give San Bruno Smile a try.. Calling different dental offices to schedule a short notice emergency appt was very difficult and sad, receptionist on the phone were not helpful, rude and some just put me on hold then hung up.. Bruno Smile was the only office that worked with me and got me in . So Thank you very much appreciated

The administrative staff is always professional and friendly, and very helpful. The doctors and technicians that I have encountered have also been a positive experience. However, one male assistant is a little too touchy for my comfort level. I am sure he is just a friendly person by nature and that is how he treats others. But every time he assists in my appointment he touches or squeezes my shoulder’s multiple times. I am a patient, not his friend, and I don’t need to be touched unless it’s medically necessary. I hope someone can teach him to be a little more professional. Other than that, I am very happy with San Bruno Smiles.

Dr. A did a fabulous job on my implant. He was able to accomplish the procedure w/ the short acting Carbocaine (since I don't tolerate Lidocaine). He put my mind at ease knowing he was experienced at this procedure. I hardly felt the injection as he put it in slowly. His assistant was attentive @ keeping me from gagging on any secretions. Seen four dentist and all of them were fantastic! But the dental assistant lady that helped on 11/28 was aggressive in her handling the tools, and I left the office with a bruised lip and my gums were torn, where she jammed in the suctioning tool. She also kept burping and was completely unapologetic. She burped and belched like five times as she was looking down at me, so unprofessional. I’ve requested to hopefully not have her work on me in the future, which I’ve never ask for before. But every one else has been so pleasant and fantastic to work with. Best dental office I’ve ever been at!

The doctor did a great job cleaning my teeth and asking if anything was hurting or bothering me about my teeth. She also gave me some good tips for more home care. But then she left and said someone was coming to finish my cleaning with a floss and polish. But I stayed there laying back with my head down for over 20 minutes until I got up to get someone to finish my procedure. I think someone dropped the ball and forgot about me in the chair. The girl who finished my cleaning seemed tentative and unsure. Overall, it was a good experience but could have been smoother.

I had to wait 16 months for appointment.

Patiently waited for my dtr to complete paperwork. Re- cemented my crown super quickly. Allowed me to reschedule when I arrived without the crown (which was buried in purse entire time!) Also like that the dentist does the de- scaling and is very thorough.

Occasionally we have some difficulty scheduling an appointment. Other than that everything else is great. I highly recommend working with Gabby, she’s awesome. Always following up with us regarding treatment and scheduling.

Arranged my urgent appointment in a timely way. Could be better: parking in your lot was difficult, navigating dumpster, etc. ; online video of Covid protocols does not match your current practice. I shouldn't have to ask to have my seatback/headrest adjusted properly.

Fast procedure with crown placement. The work was done really well compared to my previous dentist. Very knowledgeable with answering questions regarding care after procedure. Dr Tai was great. My only criticism would be that when i first sat down for initial treatment (the person who prepped me for examination and polished my teeth) did not bother to introduce herself or exchange any pleasantries. This was something I’m not accustomed to in any medical office.

My first visit was pleasant. Dr. Tai was great and very considerate when he treated me. Joaquin was also friendly and professional. He even took the step to give me my dental pouch. Small gesture but means a lot.

Besides waiting longer the expected to see the dentist, the staff and dental assistance are very nice and did an excellent job! The dentist is a nice person and I like the cleaning done for my teeth!

I was one of the first appointments of the morning, right when the office opened, so I was seen fairly punctually for the X-rays and teeth cleaning portion. But then surprisingly, I had to wait over a half hour in the dental chair for a dentist to come and do a brief “check up”, almost making me late for work. That delay is the only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5 stars.

What s great experience I had at SB Dental!!. Seeing the dentist has always been very stressful for me! Gabby in the front & Sandra the office mgr. were so helpful and nice, they gently walked me through the loan process, and everything worked out. Dr. Wang was great! He made me feel so comfortable, he was gentle, and competent, he saved my tooth from what could of been a huge expense. He was also willing to stay late to make sure I wasn't in pain and the crown was secure. Lastly, I got a call on Saturday to make sure everything went well and I was feeling okay.. Do NOT let this small exterior fool you because good things come in small packages!!! 5 STAR OFFICE!!! I was searching for a new Dental Office to fulfill my dental care. I reviewed offices and called each one on my list of providers. I came across San Bruno Smiles. Immediately I was greeted on the phone by Cora who was extremely knowledgable, kind, caring and patient with all of my questions. I booked and appointment. Then received an email to fill out the History forms, COVID compliance and confirmation of appointment. I was really impressed at the text messaging system especially the compliance with COVID. On Thanksgiving I received a beautiful email which touched me; classy. I called a couple times to ask some follow up questions. When I arrived at the office Gabby and Thalia were extremely courteous, super friendly, down to earth and professional. It made me feel completely comfortable immediately. Again COVID compliance was superior; especially booties for the shoes! I then was greeted by Monica, she also was extremely personable and proficient in taking my X-Rays, very attentive listener, kind and caring. I then met my Dentist by the name of Dr. Yenba T. Sing DMD.....WOW was I immediately impressed. She is Super!!! intellectually proficient and professional. She has a gentle touch, quick and noticed everything down to the diminutive detail of what I was experiencing. Just amazing!!! Fully explained everything that I would need and assured me that I would be taken care of was a blessing. Then I met Joyce; WOW what an amazingly efficient Hygeinist and DMD from her own Country of El Salavdor. She was so fun to have a teeth cleaning by and I admire her for the charity work she does. The cleaning was so quick.....that is a TRUE professional. MY SMILE was brought back to LIFE after being dead for a LONG time. I thank each and everyone of YOU from my whole HEART!

The receptionist told me as I received my prescription that I was NOT to call and request any pain meds, that I was now the other doctor ( that I didn’t have yet) problem, and that they would not give me anymore meds. I was given a two day supply and the doctor that I see in four days told me I would have to get additional meds from San Bruno Smiles. I will be calling on tomorrow when I run out. I am in a great deal of pain. I need a tooth extraction.

The whole process was good. Since the answer phone call to the end that doctor finished. Nice deal with the staff. Only one thing: maybe fix the phone menu to be less complicated. Thank you for the opportunity

We were greeted by Gabby who was very polite and she’s the main reason for the high rating. You guys got 5 stars for Gabby. She helped with getting referral and getting documents. She was fast in taking care of things for us. The place is nice and clean. My main reason why I changed my ratings earlier was because it seemed like we didn’t get the service we came in for. We couldn’t get the partial dentures which is why we came in for. When we were told that needed extraction but Dr Nick said he wasn’t qualified to extract and he would ask the other dentist to extract but that dentist didn’t want to do and you guys sent us elsewhere instead. We were told you don’t do partials either. I give you guys 3 stars for that but it would have even been lower if Dr Nick and Maggie weren’t friendly. You got a great staff but we came in for dental work not friendliness.

I have to commend San Bruno Smile! I have a very real anxiety issue going to the dentist. I would literally cancel appointments sitting in the parking lot! After moving to San Francisco, I had to find a new dentist. I selected San Bruno Smile and mist say what a great place this is! Dr. Avendaño is fantastic! The entire staff made me comfortable and addressed my fear in a compassionate understanding. The cleaning & subsequent work was literally fast, painless and easy to handle. Dr. A always does what's best for me and explains everything. I have never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes. The entire staff is thoughtful and courteous. Glad I found them when my old dentist moved.

It started in the front desk. Sandra was very knoledgeable and eager to help. They got the Insurance authorization really fast, good prices, appointments accommodations etc. What I was fearing for some time went really smooth and easy. But that was just the beginning. Doctor Avendano was superb. I am really impressed with his professionalism. He wants everything to be perfect, even tough it is not the easy way. He performed all the treatments I needed and I was not an easy case. I give many many thanks to Dr. Avendano and his team. Spanish speaking was a plus too.

Being a new patient, I found the reception area and the facility as well kept and clean. Lani, the assistant who received me, performed my x-ray, and polished my teeth not to mention the dentist who initiated the check up and cleaning of my teeth and gave me some advise were both excellent in their respective jobs. My visit should have been completely alright had the receptionist been more friendlier and accommodating.

I had been looking for a dentist for months and when I came across san bruno smile i was able to make an appointment really fast and easily. Good customer service, the staff and doctor were very friendly and professional.

Doctor A extracted 9 teeth, implanted 6, and in addition bone graft in 3 hours . Although my teeth still has some normal complications after 6 days but I beleive I made a right decision. He is also available anytime I needed.

All the dentist that I’ve had and you can check my records which dentists, They have been so nice from the owner to the associates they took good care of me especially since I had very high anxiety. I felt minimum pain and I have confidence in these dentists. I hope to be a client of you all for a long time

Dr. Liu was very informative and cordial. I wish I could have received all surgical needs here because it's close to home. However I'd definitely recommend.

I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time, I was nervous going into my appointment but everyone made me feel welcome from Shane's patience while doing Xrays to Dr.Lui explaining everything step by step. I really appreciate everyone at San Bruno Smile and will definitely be returning!

So far its been great! No problems.

Very pleasant and thorough in reviewing my history as a new patient. The only negative—a long, long wait for the appt. my husband waited almost an hour. I waited around 30 minutes. Not accustomed to more than 10-15 at most.

Every staff member, and doctor met, was such a warm and welcoming experience. This office usually runs on time, but on my visit I wasn’t in a chair until 25 minutes past my scheduled slot. The dental assistant who did my X-rays was personable and made my anxiety less intense. The exam was how I expected- full of feedback on work needed to be done! Overall, the visit was fine- no one to blame other than myself for how much it will cost to get my smile back.

Everyone is very friendly. The only thing that concerns me is the (very nice) man that does the X-Rays incessantly cracks his knuckles. Please ask him to refrain from doing so in a place of business.

I was pleased with my experience yesterday and found the Dentist I saw very nice. My only constructive criticism would be that ALL staff a patient comes in contact with should be introducing themselves.

I'd like the head/neck support to be adjusted for me when I first arrive. Also, this last visit, the assistant bumped into my head as she was walking by and did not acknowledge me.

The lady at the reception is nice

I was seen right away even though I was early and my dentist was really gentle. Even though I hadn’t been in a long time and had a lot of build up it didn’t take too long and they used neat tools and didn’t use the metal picks too much. I really appreciate that!

Everyone was very friendly, it was hands down the most pleasant dental staff I have ever interacted with. Only minor complaint was there was a backup and I didn't get seen until 30min after my schedule appt time.
