I'm happy with my glasses and all the contact I've had with the doctor and staff. I came to South Waterfront Eyecare because it is across the street from my home not realizing that the specialty is dry eye syndrome. I'm still a bit skeptical about that diagnosis given that I didn't know I had symptoms other than not seeing as well in the last few years. I'm 70 years old and have a cataract so I attribute my not seeing well to that though I have been researching "dry eye" on the internet particularly in preparation for cataract surgery this year. I don't do facebook and would prefer that you do not use my info.

Sarah and company were great during the exam. However you were pushing the products you sell a bit to hard for my taste. Obviously you get a kickback from the manufacturer for selling these items. $80 for Fish oil! $40 for eye wash? That’s way overpriced.

The entire staff was welcoming and supportive. Your diagnostic equipment is top notch and the exam was extremely thorough and comprehensive. I was particularly impressed with the features of the retina scan, reminds me of an ‘echo cardiogram’ of the eye. Dr. Ciampa is very knowledgeable, patient and explains things in a very helpful way.

As always, I love my doc and the team are always professional, warm, thoughtful and thorough. I love the selection of glasses and the location is fantastic. The prices of glasses were *extra* steep this year. Also, I felt a bit like upselling was happening with peripheral recommendations. As a patient, I feel there’s a conflict of interest in selling items prescribed.
