Best Eye exam I have ever had. Professional, punctual, and friendly (all of the staff).

First time patient. The staff made me feel important from the moment I walked in. The doctor explained a pre-existing condition in a way that helped me better understand my situation.

I enjoyed my appointment, it was a short wait and the staff is great. Dr. Hackney is very knowledgeable and very pleasant to have as a doctor, she is very forthcoming with information and welcomes questions. I will recommend her to anyone and will continue to use her as my optometrist no matter where I live in Charlotte or the surrounding area.

The staff is always pleasant, polite and professional. My appointments are easy to schedule and times are convenient to my schedule. Additionally the staff and the doctor are timely never keeping me waiting. Most times they take me in early. Dr “W” is always professional and personable engaging in conversation about the process and any concerns. We were referred and any apportioning we have we highly recommend Dr “W” and his staff.

From scheduling, to the eye exam, to picking out new glasses, my experience was comfortable, convenient, and straightforward.

The staff was friendly and efficient. I was able to complete my exam, review results with the doctor and select new frames within an hour!

Staff was very kind, patient and continuously went the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant experience! I will definitely be back!

I would like to give feedback on parking. I arrived To the parking deck for my appointment at 7:10AM. My appointment was at 7:45am. I was told my parking would only be reimbursed for the time my appointment started. So to clarify, for future appointments, I am Supposed to enter the parking lot AT my appointment time in order to avoid being charged. Felt a lack of customer service for not mentioning the rule before the appointment and not validating my ticket for the extra 30 min this ONE time.

I was in a pinch - ran out of contacts and lost my glasses. I walk past Spectrum each day so I decided to drop in and ask if I could make an appointment. My expectation was maybe they would work me in within a week or so. There must have been a cancellation while I was standing there because they let me know a Dr. could see me right then. With no wait, they took me right to an examination room and collected my information as well as medical history. They immediately performed the necessary tests and within 20 minutes I was meeting with the Dr. The Dr. was awesome! He listened to my situation, performed the check up and fitted me with a trial pair of contacts. He then sat me with an agent who ordered my contacts, helped me pick out a new pair of glasses, measured the lenses and placed the glasses order. The agent walked me through an itemized list of the charged and help me determine my most affordable options based on my insurance. The final charge was very reasonable based on what I needed. In short my experience was exceptional. My total time in the office was approximately an hour which was perfect considering I wasn’t planning on seeing a Dr. and I was simply on my way to grab something for lunch. The staff was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to help me and far exceeded my expectations. Sorry about the long review but I feel it’s important to give the proper recognition when excellent service is provided. FYI - when I walked back up to my office I let everyone know about my experience and recommended they give Spectrum a try. Thanks again to all that helped me!!!

Uptown is great. Didn’t have good experience at the south Charlotte office. Called to pick a pair of contact. Went to the office. Two receptionist sitting doing nothin. Asked for my contacts that were supposed to be waiting for me. They tell I have to wait for one of the specialist to get help which that said could 30 minutes which I did t have.

The exam and the service was excellent. I’m not sure if it’s my insurance or the prices but I paid almost $900 out of pocket for my exam and glasses. Astronomical! I’ve never paid more than $300 out of pocket for comparable lenses and the same items such as transitions, anti-glare, bi-focals.

I had a very good appointment. The Doctor and staff answered all my questions and offered a solution for my chronic dry eye.

Dr. Hackley did a wonderful job during my eye exam. She was very clear and walked me through each part of the exam as she was giving it. She communicated well and was patient with me as we tried to determine my prescription— even after me waffling in my selections. She offered recommendations about the types of glasses and lenses that would work best (blue light blockers) and overall made the experience very pleasant.

I am very impressed with my experience. The entire staff was courteous and hospitable. Dr. Osborne in particular listened to my concerns and questions patiently and addressed each one.
