I can't say enough about my son's favorite optician, Thom. Thom is the reason why my son has tolerated wearing glasses since he was 4 years old and will only seek Thom's opinion about eye wear, wearing schedule, and care for his new glasses. Thom is welcoming, courteous, and very respectful of my son and his needs. My son has sensory processing issues, and his sensory sensitivities are almost non-existent under Thom's care when he visits the optical department. As a mom, Thom has been a blessing in that he takes on a holistic approach when working with my son and our family. He observes what works, considers roles/ activities, provides education as needed, develops rapport and most of all, gives you that extra time to ask questions, which is very important to me! Thom never hesitates to give you his honest and sincere opinion as well as advocates the best fit and look you can achieve with prescription glasses. My son tells all his friends at school to see "Mr. Thom," and we continue to make that referral today. Thank you.

Young and Tom have helped us the last few times we have been here. Both are always friendly, willing to answer any questions, and make our experience the best it can be. Both of my sons get their glasses here and when adjustments are needed, they are always helpful and quick. Young and Thom helped my daughter Julianna and myself with in kind professional manner. My daughter has physical challenges and facial differences and they were very helpful to us both, even with her unique needs and how the glasses could help her. When I first spoke to Young, I was grateful for the readiness he expressed to help my daughter with the specific glasses she needed. When we came in he was cheerful towards her and gentle while helping her get the right style and fit that she needed and and that would be best for her as well as something she and myself were happy with. They were a cute style too! It made me feel more confident in my first time experience of getting glasses for my child. When the glasses were ready for us to pick up, Thom helped us. He was kind and explained exactly what we needed to know moving forward with the glasses we were receiving. The staff is always so great and engaging with my kids, we had an appointment for 2 of my daughters and as one was sitting in the chair telling the picture she sees, the other couldn’t wait for her turn. The doctor is thorough and suggests options that work well for our family and daughter who wears glasses. My only complaint is that I have to come twice for my three kids because the clinic staff refused to schedule and examine all of the three kids with adjacent in the same day - this is major inconvenience for parents who need to take time off work to get to the doctors.

We cannot recommend The Children and Family eye dr's of Redmond enough. We have received such personal and professional care from the staff. The front desk ladies run a welcoming and efficient office and our appointments consistently run on time. Dr. Lenart truly has a gift in determining children's correct prescriptive needs. Our children required glasses as early as preschool age and have been wearing them for about 3 years. Through Dr. Lenart's process their eyes have already improved significantly. The optical department has a large variety of high quality attractive frames. All of it's staff have been helpful and friendly but Tom is definitely our go to guy. He manages to find adorable frames and properly fit them to our kid's tiny faces. Our girls are constantly receiving compliments on how adorable the look. The Children's and Family eye Dr. is worth the drive from whatever your location.

Francisco, my son, has been Dr. Lenart's patient since August 2002, when my son was 2 months old. Francisco was born with bi-lateral cataracts that went undiagnosed until Dr. Lenart examined him. Dr. Lenart removed the cataracts via surgery, and since Francisco turned 5 months old, Dr. Lenart has been our local Pediatric Ophthalmologist managing Francisco's glaucoma, a common side effect of cataract removal surgery. Dr. Lenart is an amazing doctor and a great human being that has supported us from day 1. He is caring, proactive and patient; always helpful and open to finding the best sub-specialists for second opinions, even out of the state of Washington, to treat Francisco's glaucoma. We can't thank him and his staff enough for their care, attention, compassion, and professionalism. It really makes you feel that they really care for their Patients . And the optical department have a very knowledgeable team and also extremely professional, and patient. Makes my visits so much nicer and easier with my kids. As a mom who cares and worries so much for his son's health, I am thankful to count with the support of Dr. Lenart and his staff. They have my highest regard and recommendation.

Everyone at the front office was very nice and it seemed like a well organized team. Dr. Lenhart was very cool and calm when I came in to the office with A LOT of eye discomfort from an eye abrasion. Diagnosed the problem and explained an easy to follow plan on what I needed to do next. I was in so much pain I really appreacited that part. He personally made a follow up phone call the next business day to check on my progress. Prognosis is good for my eye and will heal nicely.

I’ve been in the puget sound area for 6 years now, and I haven’t had a chance to see a great eye doctor until I met Dr.Min. She was amazing and did a very detail eye examination for me. I’ve a history of “lazy eye” and was looking for not only a good doctor but the one who is professional excellent and had the patience to answer their patients questions and Dr.Min was extraordinary. She did a series of eye exam and gave me a couple of options and answered all of my questions. She’s now my family’s eye doctor. I highly recommend her.

My son has been seeing ophthalmology since he was about 3 months old, he’s 5 now! Our visit to this clinic was probably the best we have had so far. Dr. Lenart is awesome, the reception staff was unbelievably polite, and the assistant was perfect with my son. We have been going to Seattle children’s hospital, which we loved. But, this clinic is much smaller, more personable, and we got an appointment within 2 weeks. I will 100% recommend this clinic to my family and friends in the future.

Sorry, some is repeat due to tech difficulties. My 11 year old daughter loved your selection! We previously went to 5 other places. She needed frames with nose pads. Yong was fantastic with how he interacted with her as well as his sense of style. He's a keeper!!

My family had a very positive experience here. Dr. Min was lovely and easily made my young daughter feel comfortable for her eye exam. (We're new to the area, so she was a new doctor to us.) Young helped us select our new frames. He listened to my daughter and helped her quickly locate a pair that looks great and she absolutely loves. For me, he showed that they really do stand behind their satisfaction guarantee. The original pair I selected ultimately didn't fit comfortably, so I returned (it is difficult to find frames that fit my face). Young didn't give me any fuss, and patiently helped me to select an alternative that works much better for me. He also arranged for them to be completed on a rush ticket as we were leaving the next week to visit out of state family. We're grateful for the recommendation that sent us here, and I'm happy to pass it along!

My experience with your entire office concerning my eye problem was truly excellent! I was impressed by the thorough pre-examination done by Colleen Birchler. I could sense that she really enjoyed her work, this was reflected not only by her ability, but her knowledge in what she was doing. It was combined with a great method of communicating and interacting me. And, all these same characteristics are also true concerning Dr. Thomas Lenart. Who's surgical skill and surgical precision resulted in the successful correction of my eye problem. It's difficult for me to express the joy of being able to see "normally" again !! Thom did superd job handling my request. I walked to store without any expextation but I needed to gey progressive lense. He helped me very well. It sounds too simple and normal but two other stores I visited, they made me to get my prescription first. Then they can help me. Thom, on the other hand, he personally called my eye doctor's office in front of me and got their fax. All this process except me taking my own sweet time to pick the right frame and lense, only took about less 30 mins. Thanks for Thom support and definately recommending thia store to my friends to do the business

He felt very comfortable and had a great experience. He lives the doctor and the doctor assistant was very nice. They are very profesional .
