I enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the reception desk and all the way to the dentist chair. I was shown care and respect and felt valued as a client. I came to University Place Smiles when a filling came out, and my son recommended I go there. He found this office after moving up here a couple of years ago. I found Dr Kim to be polite and extremely gentle when working in my mouth. I was able endure the procedure without Novocain and to get another issue addressed as well. I feel fortunate to have been able to connect with this dentist for all my future dental needs.

Dental Assistant Cristie is awesome. She is friendly, patient, sympathetic, great at answering questions and seems to genuinely care about my concerns. My Doctor is Dr. Yuri,(sorry, if I spelled name wrong), not overly talkative but efficient and made me feel very comfortable. From the moment I walked in all Staff were friendly and helpful! This was a great first time visit.

This visit was my first experience with Dr. Park I found him and his team very professional Any dentist visit is fun; but his team did their best to make me comfortable

The Dentist was very gently and thorough. I bareky felt the needle, he explained everything he wss doing while always asking me how i was doing. The staff is just as wonderful; they all listened to me, answer ed all my questions, and went beyond.

I am a new patient who use to go to community heath dental in Lakewood, mainly because I never knew where else to go. I received a coupon in the mail for services and though I didn’t want those services I decided to call and see if they accepted my insurance, you did! I was impressed with office and the lady who did my xrays was awesome, short blond hair (maybe bleached). The only downside is the amount of seating, as another patient mentioned while waiting with her son. All the chairs were full and two kids, three adults (including myself) were standing. This was after my appointment and I was waiting to schedule another. The woman whom scheduled my appointments I wasn’t very keen of her per her attitude that seemed like she was fed up or didn’t want to be there. All in all I am excited to start care here not to mention my next appointment is in a week! Usually have to wait months for another appointment and only get one tooth at a time done but here I can get multiple so that’s a plus as I have a special needs son and limited transportation.

Hi, the staff, were very kind and gracious. Dr Hahn seemed knowledgeable. But I think the room I was seen in might have been an overflow or Stock room where things were left or not unpacked completely. Didnt seem sterile. This may have been because I was on Medicaid. This was my first dental experience on Medicaid. I am guessing that it is not as lucrative? Hmmm. The assistant was really on top of things and very kind. Thank You! HLT

I was very surprised that the dentist was able to see me as quickly as he did. I came in to make a appointment and the receptionist said to wait and she would see if the dentist could see me now. The dentist was able to see me within 15-20 minutes. I never had service that quickly.

My husband and I had our firs visit there together Thursday the 18th, and the Dr. and his staff were so kind and extra helpful with both of us, I have a touch of fobia when it comes to dental visits, the ladies who attended me along with Dr. were so kind and gentle and very attentive to all my concerns, my husband had the same experience. BEYOND FANTASTIC! The Dentist was phenomenal!! He explained everything that he was going to do before hand, answered all my questions, let me know what is covered by my insurance and what's not so I'm aware of what I may or may not be paying at the end of my visit, and there's no surprise bill (like I've experienced at another dental office) and let me know the overall health of my teeth. I didn't leave the office feeling confused or with unanswered questions. This is my second time coming here and I've recommended it to everyone. All the staff make you feel right at home. They make sure you're comfortable before getting started and it makes you less nervous. The first time I came here I had a tooth pulled and BEFORE getting started, the dental assistant held my hand since I am extremely terrified of needles. Never had I had that kind of customer care at a dental office since I've been in WA (and I've lived here 20+ years) Absolutely great!! I can't say enough about University Place Smiles. You definitely deserve some sort of "Best of Western Washington" Award or something. If I moved out of state, if I could afford it, I would LITERALLY fly back here just for my appointments. The customer service was impeccable, hands down. I wanted to ask if it was okay to leave a gratuity because of how great they are. After you come the first time, you will be excited to go to the dentist, like you would a concert.

Everybody is incredibly friendly and they make you feel so good about yourself as you go. I visited when I was going through a tough time and I can honestly say they’re kindness was the catalyst I needed to pull myself out of a funk. You won’t waste your time here.
