The wait time to be seen for a consultation even with an appointment is a bit outrages. I had an appointment around 3 and waited roughly a hour 1/2 to be seen. Everything else about surgery and post op has been great!

Got recommended to Dr. Thigpen and West Coast Surgery. I was very satisfied with the service starting with the professionalism all of the staff. Starting from the front office who were very pleasant and dedicated to my case and managed my busy schedule accordingly and ending with the assistants and with Dr. Thigpen himself. Dr. Thigpen explained in detail the upcoming procedure. He was patient with my questions and mindful of my nervousness. This shows his incredible human and professional skills. From my consultation appointment I felt completely comfortable and welcome by all of the staff. Before, during, and after the appointment they answered all of my questions and concerns. All of the office staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they did regular dentistry because I don't really want to go anywhere else.

I had an amazing visit. I had to have an implant removed and have bone implanted. The doctor and his assistants were amazing. No wait time. Time scheduled is time your taken. The West Coast Center for Jaw Surgery provides excellent service. Upon scheduling a consultation, one receives thorough instructions on how to prepare for the consultation. For example, a patient is recommended to watch informative videos related to his or her procedure prior to the consultation. While you are in the office, you feel valued and cared for. Dr. Thigpen and his staff do a great job explaining all of your treatment options and addressing all questions and concerns. This allows patients to know what to expect and provide piece of mind. Dr. Thigpen and his staff will do their best to make you comfortable and keep you calm before your procedure. The office regularly makes phone calls to remind you of your appointments. Also, the West Coast Center for Jaw Surgery sends patients letters in the mail to thank them for visiting, and it sends get well cards after a procedure.

I was seen early and given a prescription for an oral rinse to help my mouth heal. My questions were answered and I was scheduled for a follow up for the next week.

The office of Dr. Thigpen and his staff are simply one of the most competent and friendly dental service offices I have experienced. I have required significant dental work during my life so I speak from experience. His staff executes their duties with friendly professionalism from scheduling to “handholding” after surgery to ensure patients understand the post-op instructions and prescriptions they will require. I appreciated especially, Dr. Thigpen taking me through my situation, prognosis and treatment options using the latest software. I always felt comfortable with the treatment plan we selected together and prices were both fair and consistent with norms for this area of the country. I can also add that the results of my treatment plans have been excellent and I will only go to Dr. Thigpen for follow-up exams and additional surgery services should I require them.

I was a bit of a challenge to get prepped but Dr. Thigpen did't miss a beat. As the procedure took less time than the prep.
