It does not seem important for you to keep texting me to find out how good a job you did at taking an impression for a night guard. When I try to opt out of this it looks like I’m opting out of you reminding me of my Upcoming appointments which is very important to me. It’s just bothersome to keep getting texts let me nothing.

Kristy was awesome with cleaning my teeth. I was confused in that the day before when I received my phone call reminder I was asked if I could come in at 3:00pm instead of 1:00. I agreed to the time change what they didn’t say is that I would be with a different hygienist. Turned out Kristy’s appointment was a no show so she was able to clean my teeth. She does such a great job. I appreciate that the office is clean and the staff is friendly and professional.

The staff is extremely friendly! The hygienist and doctor take time explaining in detail their procedures with cleaning, future dental work needed and precautions I should be aware of. The negative to my visit is the lack of privacy at the counter. When trying to schedule major dental work (which I’m anxious about) and discussing costs, a gal stood a foot away from me, leaning on the counter waiting for her turn, looking and listening to my personal business. This resulting in me feeling rushed, uncomfortable and leaving me with a lot of unanswered questions. I quickly scheduled, but now regret not talking in-depth about my priorities with the dental work I need done. I will be calling closer to my scheduled appointment day to touch base.

The staff is always friendly and personable. The gum height test this time around though was more painful than any measurement I have ever had. Not sure what was different but it hurt, and they said my teeth and gums were great so not sure 🤔

Responded quickly to my concerns, fixed my immediate irritation, set up appointments to take care of two teeth in need of caps, and took 3-D x-ray to help assess capability to have an implant - all done within a lovely atmosphere (as usual)

My bridge is fabulous! I am so pleased with the quality of the lab work. Perfect margins and great anatomy. Thank you to Dr. Nelson for his good care and the attentive care of all the techs. I had a very positive experience.

Professional care done on a timely basis

I broke a tooth on vacation. When I called I basically said that I needed to get it fixed. So I thought I was coming in to have it fixed. I cancelled another appointment to be there so I was surprised that it was looked at and xrayed only. Could not get another appt for a month. Discouraging. I was not going to mention it but I keep getting emails to let you know how my appt was.

First time there. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I will totally recommend it.

Shawna was great, provided me with excellent service during my cleaning, was very informative about hygiene, and overall was a great dental experience.

Dr. Hill is an expert!! He restored my jagged front tooth perfectly. No pain, no discomfort, so kind and gentle and patient! Janie is the perfect assistant, very comforting, knowledgeable, and responsive to any requests. What a perfect team!!!

Job well done

I love my new crown that Dr. Nelson and Brittany made for me last week. I view a crown as an extension of my body that I will have for the next 30 years. I want it to look, feel and function perfectly. Crowns are a little pricey but when you consider the expertise and equipment to do it right, it's not too much to pay. I appreciated the care given while having a crown put on. It’s the small things that count, like milling 3 crowns on their CNC cutter until the crown color match was perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Agreed to see me promptly when I needed help. On time for the appointment. Checked out my broken tooth and quickly came up with a very sensible solution, simply glueing the broken piece in place, and suggesting I come back if necessary but hope the patch will last until I return to my regular dentist in Massachusetts in April. Everything was explained clearly the Doctor and staff were very cordial and efficient. I certainly will recommend Wood River dental to my friends. I was lucky when I chose them from the yellow pages!
