Always a pleasurable office experience. Dr. Ripps is extremely knowledgeable and in 30+ years of being a patient there I’ve NEVER been less than 100% satisfied. Additionally, the optical department is top notch. They are committed to helping you find the perfect frame to suit your face shape, and with literally hundreds of choices they never make you feel rushed. I moved out of NJ about 25 years ago and I still continue to make the 1.5 hour trip every year to see Dr Ripps.

Dr Patel spent all the time necessary to properly explain My results and recommended lenses for my progressive glasses. As always everything was great. The only recommendation I would have is that whoever the lady I interacted with when getting my prescription was very rude. She was insistent that I get glasses for you despite me expressing being unable to afford it. I would recommend better training for her on people skills.

TEC is efficient and cost effective. I save time and money by using TEC for all of my eye care. Every time I have a problem the TEC staff says, “Yes!” It just doesn’t get any better than that.

Scheduled a visit to consult on a planned surgery and got all the information that i needed, amd requested that info be forwarded to the ophthalmologist, because he did almost no testing. I may now put off the surgery and just upgrade my glasses.

I've been going to Total Eyecare since my daughter was in 1st grade & suddenly had troubles reading . They changed her life with the vision therapy program they had at the time. Her one eye stayed straight looking at the word but her other eye looked 2-3 words ahead which made reading difficult. Fast forward, she is now 24 & gave speeches her senior year in high school. That would never had happened without Total Eyecare. Since then they have been taking care of our eyes & make sure that certain medicines I take will not affect my vision. They go over & beyond & make you feel like family! Anyone can look at your eyes, but Total Eyecare looks deep into your eyes!

Dr Audlin has been taking excellent care of my family’s eyes for years. She, and all the technicians preforming the many pre-exam tests which are a routine part of TOTAL EYE CARE’s service, are always both professional & personable. Recently my right eye began to hurt. Dr. Audlin saw me immediately and discovered I had a few problems working together to cause my the severe pain. She also said if my eye required surgery or treatment by a particular specialist she worked with several and would send me to one of them. Over a number of weeks, she prescribed meds (pills & eye drops), vitamin supplements & 3 different over the counter artificial tears. Dr.Audlin saw me often, took pictures inside my eye so I could not only see what was wrong with it but how well the treatments she prescribed were working. To stop the pain as my eye healed, she put a “bandage” in my eye (a special clear non-RX contact lens) that I wore day & night with my Verilux RX glasses during the day. Now that my eye is better, Dr. Audlin prescribed contact lens that I leave in for a week. Like the eye bandage, my right retina is protected AND I CAN SEE clearly all the time! It’s been decades since I woke up in the morning, opened my eyes and saw everything clearly! I can’t recommend Dr. Audlin and the techs at TOTAL EYE CARE enough.

Dr. Audlin and the total support staff are great. The front desk staff handle appointments and charges quickly and efficiently . The people who do the preliminary exam work explain everything well. Of course, Dr. Audlin is always friendly and nice as she does the final eye exam. She gives a total review of your current eye status and whether you need new glasses or not in an understandable explanation.

Tests and the technician were great. The Doctor was great. My only complaint was I was ready to talk to someone about eyeglasses and stood there waiting for over 5 minutes. There were either 2 or 3 people in the back room where they repair the glasses and they were busy talking. I got annoyed and paid my bill and left.

From the introduction at front desk to the eye exam with Dr. Audlin, my experience has been that of total satisfaction. I return to your office because I find Dr. Audlin to be a very knowledgeable physician who takes the time to explain what the results of all the testing is. The assistants who perform the machine testing have always been efficient and well spoken, including the woman I had on my visit on 9/4/18.

Sandy, in the optical department, took a lot of time with me, was patient and accommodating, and gave great feedback in helping me pick out new glasses. She worked with me to take advantage of sales offers to apply to my multi-frame purchase. I’m excited to receive my new glasses/sunglasses soon. Louis (technician/ medical coder/biller) performed all of the screening tests and was fantastic. The testing went quickly and efficiently due to Louis’ clear and comprehensive directions; he also explained why every test was being done. He was knowledgeable, personable and cheerful. It was a pleasure meeting him. Dr. Audlin was fabulous, as always. She took the time to work with me to figure out the best mono vision combination of contact lenses and took an innovative approach by flipping the power of the lenses in each eye, which yielded excellent results. I’m currently doing a trial week with the new contacts and so far so good. Overall this practice, which I’ve been going to for about 15 years, continues to improve and focus on customer/patient satisfaction.

I was concerned about my eyes (especially my left eye) getting worse in such a short time, but Dr. Ripps made me feel at ease. I got a great deal on the purchase of two pair of glasses. Everything was great. Would recommend anyone to visit for eye exams. The only issue I had was when I made my appointment I had asked if I was going to be able to drive home after or before a ride. I was told I don't because they can do a scan of my eyes. I was never told there was another charge for the eye scan.

I’m very happy with Total Eye Care. Just one thing that I will point out. I received a phone call with a voicemail, reminding me of my upcoming appointment and was told to call back to confirm. To me, it appears unnecessary to call back simply to confirm. I should be asked to call back, if I cannot keep my appointment. I also received a text to confirm and it is no problem to click to confirm, but I don’t see why there had to also be the phone call just to confirm. Please consider eliminating the need for me to call back to confirm a positive response. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

With Dr Ripps, I feel as though my eyesight is in good hands. He's not just thorough, he's impassioned. I know this because I always ask experts a lot of pointed questions...AFTER putting hours of research into a particular area of interest. Dr Ripps Immediately goes into sharing the latest findings, referring me to the studies behind them, and demonstrating to me that his products and services are up-to-the-minute. I truly value that. I'll change providers in a heartbeat if I think I'll get better care elsewhere, but I've been with Dr. Ripps for 14 years, through very significant presbyopia, astigmatisms, thinning retinas, an eye injury, and a family history of macular degeneration. He offers advanced testing in his office, through the latest equipment, which he obviously loves... I want that kind of service so I can stay on top of my eye health. Very good selection of frames as well.
